I'm going the same way. And even if you block, you could still do it later in the turn if your creature is still alive Cameron in this game used some instants during his turn to phase out a creature or two, he could have waited until the end of his last opponent's turn to maximize the chances to plays something else at instant speed to mess with his opponents' boards.
Nice game. Although, the firts time the King of the Oathbreakers created a tapped spirit, it should have been untapped on untap step (such as the King did). Phase in occurs at the beggining of the turn, right before the untap step, that makes a huge difference when Cameron phases in more spirits ;) He wouldn't have taken so much damage whit those additional blockers ;)
Hi, there's a misconception here. Per 502.4, "No player receives priority during the untap step, so no spells can be cast or resolve and no abilities can be activated or resolve. Any ability that triggers during this step will be held until the next time a player would receive priority, which is usually during the upkeep step. (See rule 503, “Upkeep Step.”)" Phasing in occurs during the untap step as it's the first step in a turn (addressed in rules 502.1 and 702.26a). King of the Oathbreakers's phasing in ability creates a trigger that would require using the stack and granting a round of priority. Since you can't gain priority in the untap step, the trigger would be created during the upkeep. Since the untap step has already passed, the tokens won't be able to untap right away.
I really love orcish bow masters. To me playing it is fun, and playing against it can be like a puzzle and manipulating board. For example drawing cards knowing he will kill mishra.. but everytime I see it I have fear they will ban it. I really hope it doesn't get banned
Sometimes I wonder whats going on lmao. Alex had the vampiric, drew a card, and then died with a lot of open mana. Why not grab cyclonic rift or something to save yourself.
Of the commanders at the table, Lord of the Nazgúl does need to die first. Control commander with token generation for simply playing the game the way Dimir always does? Scary.
Unfortunate that Jason didn’t get a nazghul out early for all those triggers off his commander, would’ve had a massive amount of counters and damage to be putting out
oathbreaker is so unique. Really like when commanders come out that make obscure and forgotten cards great.
I wonder if Alex knew that Master Transmuter could be activated immediately - suspend gives creatures spells haste, which most people don’t remember.
Great game! The bowmaster did a lot of work!
A lot? It single handedly placed the guy on the board.
Spirits are quite scary, i remember seeing some strong games when that Millicent Precon came out.
That bowmaster did some serious damage wow
loaded my oathbreaker with instants to block then phase them out. i see alot of ppl taking crazy damage cause they do it on their turn

Some really cool commqnders love kiora. Early orcish bowmasters is destructive
16 years is a long time for a scry 1. If you get good like me you can get sub 10 years
also good win and thank you for the shoutout in the podcast ❤️
He has spoken!
poor alex, jason didnot want him to play mishra :C or play at all
Smork Smork.

HOMESTUCK PLAYMAT AT ALEX' TABLE
lord of the naz should've been monoblaaack. good game!
They did make a mono black version actually. I just built him, he's great lol
love my witch king voltron deck. already played around 15 games on him.
Why did slim voda not bounce everything? It doesn’t tap things at all in its text. Did I miss something?
