@@decantswithd And just yesterday I cleaned out my local supplier of the 2015 Lynch-Bages. Wanted the 2015 Leoville Las Cases, but at $325 I thought otherwise. Not many 2015’s left.
I recently had the 2012 Barton. It was amazing, really blown away by how well it's drinking right now. 2018 was a better year than 2012, but I am surprised to see how much you liked it young, goes to show how Bordeaux has evolved over the last few years in terms of drinkability :-) Sadly though again you're just basically taking what wine spectator said in it's review and it would be much more interesting to hear your own subjective tasting notes of the wine and not the wine magazines. Cheers!
The 2018 can be drunk now, but it would obviously be better in another 2-3 years. Over the years I have found that my palate agrees more with WS raters than any other publication.
Very nice tasting D; not had Lynch Badges and the last Leoville Barton I had was an '85 a few years ago. I remember not wanting the bottle to end, so it must have been good
Came across this video in my feed. Perfect timing as I have 2014 Barton and also 2018 cruising in the cellar.
Nice

Thank you Dietmar. I think its time to fly there and pick up a few fresh bottles!
Just arrived in Detroit, back from Scottsdale and 88 degrees, and there is snow on the ground here…

Happy Easter, D!
Same to you A7RA
Another great review D. I have both aging in my cellar. 🍷
That’s a good position to be in!
Give them 3 years!
Wow nice. I have the Leoville Barton 2010 in the cellar. About the same scores.
The 2010 should be drinking beautifully right now!

That’s the feeling when you drink the Leoville.
This was the first high end Bordeaux I’ve purchased in 1973 , Chateau Leoville Barton. Then it was like 30 dollars !
$90 is still a good deal today, James!
I have a 1995 in my cellar I’m itching to pop. (Barton)
You should, Nick, it is not getting any better.
