I was sitting there watching her first interview play on TV tonight, ( even though I'm from New Zealand, I saw it the day it aired, and remembered thinking how awesome to turn a tragedy onto a positive) and I was intently watching her body language while she was telling the story thinking how? How can you intentionally damage your children like that? And not even consider that those poor children knew their Father had died, and now or soon, they're anout to find out their Mom did it for the money. The book was a bonus 🤨

He still sat down with her (after the sandwich incident!) to consider flipping that huge house with her. He was definitely not just trying to keep an eye on the children...like cytobi said, its a "no win" situation... if he had left and had to share custody, she may well have taken life insurance out on kids (can you do that?)

Girl I was thinking the same thing! $900 worth of fent the FIRST TIME LOL, that is more than enough to do the job! Somehow that didn't work, none of it made it into his body? And she still wanted to try that again after wasting almost a grand? When I relapsed years ago, I've been clean for almost a year and a $20 sack of fentanyl OD'd me, & I needed 4 narcans to wake up. I never used IV drugs either, I freaking c😮ould have died from sniffing $20 of dope that was actually fentanyl- the bioavailability is much lower with that ROA. Theoretically (if none of her targets are already using & don't have a tolerance) she could whack her whole family, & the family across the street, and neighbors on both sides with $900 worth of fent!
Also, her drug question to the bf, and his response, led me to believe she was maybe trying to figure how "down" he might be with using. She was at least sorting out how much work it'll be to hide her drug habits from him once they do live together. If he is clueless to that life, he won't think anything of some of the things she might leave laying around. However, if he knows the sounds of a person on the other side of the bathroom door crushing up a pill to abuse it, or if he ever did street drugs and might recognize some of the packaging it comes in- annoying that stuff from the past of experimentation could make it harder for her to hide drug use... I can't think of any other reason they have that conversation-- She wasn't going to ask that man to get her substances to kill her husband lol! As soon as the toxicology came back showing that the drugs he gave her are what killed him, that would have been the beginning of the end of that relationship.
