I would take my niece's children and in a heartbeat if anything happened to her. And raise them as my own. I honestly don't know how people can just drop their kids off and not look back. Or if they are even needing just a little help with their children for family members not to step up and be willing to help out in all I have no clue how people do it. My own family is messed up I'm adopted and my Adoptive family is not helpful of whatsoever. The only one in my adoptive family that is helpful and has been there in times that I have needed them is my niece and that's it. We are more like sisters than we are anything else.

Or are they abuse their children physically and emotionally.. and that would tear her sister to pieces is she gives those kids back to this empty woman and then she does something to those children. But the judge should make her pay child support for those children I don't care what her situation is if you don't want the kids and the kids are with the aunt then you should be giving her money to support your children and social the fathers

She has SUPER flat affect. She's either ON something, or she NEEDS to be on something. Notice the Aunt is in NO way asking to give them back? She KNOWS the mother is unstable. They can actually officially "place" them with the Aunt through the court system, and that way, the State will help them. They will get things like an assistance check, food stamps, free lunches, and so on, to help that Auntie out, and she 100% deserves it for taking those sweet babies on. She's a definite hero in this story. If she hadn't stepped up, those kids would go into foster care. I hope things work out for that family, and that mother get some help. Something is definitely not right with her.

    • @joelkitchen2560

The state doesn’t have to place them in the home for her to get assistance. As long as they are living with her and she is providing for them, regardless of who put the kids with her she is eligible for assistance as long as falls within the income guidelines.

Not having to care about kids or a spouse made my lfie less stressing and honestly my pets are enough for me, never really been a people's person. I had people showing me their kids but the parental instincts/feelings never activated. For the court case it's better they stay with the aunt. If someone doesn't want kids, or not anymore, don't force them, the kids could end up really bad, or even dead. I saw cases of parents ending the lives of their kids because they ended up having them and hating them (for being born and/or other reasons). my mother sent me to live with my Grandma. The last words she said before I left was "I'll see you in two weeks." That was in 1972. The next time I talked to her was 1991. 19 years. I chewed her out and hung the phone up on her.
About a week later I got a phone call from the state police where she was living. She had handcuffed herself to her steering wheel and drove off a pier into a lake. The note that was found in a water tight bag said "I never wanted you anyway" along with my contact information. She obviously was not mentally stable. Looking at this mother, I think the same thing with her.

She just said "I don't want to be a mother anymore" and dumped her children off at her sister's house and expected her sister to be Mom now and let her have her life with her new man. I pray these poor children never watch this video and learn how vile and selfish their "mother" is. God bless this auntie for stepping up and protecting them. They SHOULD NOT be with this "Mom" and she absolutely should be made to pay every dime of that $700 for child support.

Unfortunately, I really doubt that mother is going to pay her sister. The way the judge had to keep asking if she understood what was going on really highlighted something being off about her. She'll probably just refuse to pay saying she doesn't have it. The sister will either have to sue to have the mothers wages garnished or do without. It's sad because I'm sure the kids don't understand why this is happening to them.

As disturbing as the mother’s indifference and lack of compassion is, I want to acknowledge the aunt’s selfless willingness to keep the children as they could easily become wards of The State if the aunt also decided that she didn’t want to continue caring for them. The mother clearly has mental health issues that aren’t addressed in this case, and the children would be in danger of serious neglect in her care or perhaps worse. My hats off and tremendous respect to the aunt-may she be blessed financially and granted the strength and perseverance she needs to raise her niece and nephew. And I also hope that mother gets the help she needs and is able to heal in the process. Maybe one day her relationship with her children can be reconciled. There is always hope.

I'm sensing sever depression. And people who say kids can't and won't that. Either have support and a perfect little life, or simply never had kids. It's written all over her face that something is wrong. Hell if she commits suicide, I won't be surprised, and most folks will be saying "good riddance" rather then see her side. Where the fucks the father at? He needs to pay that other half, as I would refuse to even do a job after hearing that verdict. It's true, she could have put them for adoption and can still do that I believe. But I get the feeling she was pressured into motherhood by carrying the babies to term.

As an aunt currently caring for my teenage nephew in addition to my own two teenagers I feel this woman's plight. It really is expensive to care for a child not your own when you're not receiving help from their parent(s). I hope that birth giver (because mother is not something I'd call her) grows up and realizes what she's missing. You can't relive your children's childhoods. If you miss it, you miss it. The biological mother seems so disconnected from her children that I'm wondering if there are any existing psychological issues. (My first thought was drug use due to delayed reactions and responses, as well as inappropriate smiles.) The only time she showed any emotion is when the judge set the amount of child support at $700/month, she seemed to wake up then! But whatever the underlying issues are, it's definitely in the children's best interest to be raised by someone who actually loves them, not sees them as a burden. Pay your child support, woman, and be thankful that you have a sister who is willing to take on your responsibilities.

She doesn't buy any BS and shows people who come with unreasonable claims and demands what is fair and just. My mom walked out on me and it's just bone-chilling to see her say, "I just don't want them". Boy or girl, those kids will feel this for life. A big loving family may distract them from the love their mother never gave. But regardless, they will go through life knowing their mom "didn't want" them. Always feeling not enough and wondering "how come she don't want me".

Internalizing it is a mistake. This is their fault, their shortcoming, their fault. It has absolutely nothing to do with your own self worth. Love yourself and let them go. Your value is not dependent on someone else loving you.

@BikeisLyfe God puts the solitary in families. He promises that when your mother or father forsakes you, He will take you up. Psalm 27.10.
I pray that he breaks your wounded soul and binds up your broken heart, and surroundsyou with His love. God truly cares for you.

It’s heartbreaking! It happened to my mum and she still cries about it (and she’s over 80 now). What compounded it was her mother ended up turning up on her doorstep a while ago - old and broke! She then demanded my mother look after her! My mother did (as hard as it was) as she ached for her mothers love as she couldn’t process why she didn’t want her. Love my mum - she’s so amazing!
