As a kid, the Biolizard fight was the bane of my existence. Not only was it difficult but it gatekept me from this fight and the empowerment this song gives. This song is my childhood, and I sure lived and Learned much from that time. Thank you for the Epic remix as always Johnny!
(Assuming Biohazard since Biolizard is the name of the fight Shadow does right before) I remember this fight being difficult for my smol child brain until realizing you can swap between Shadow and Sonic freely for more rings if you fly away from the boss
I had a harder time with the fight when you play as shadow before the final fight. I always fell into the water and died.

I have been around since the early 90s. I remember well when this game came out and I heard this song for the first time. And like many, I was blown away by it. The song is truly a timeless classic and also an extremely difficult one to cover.
I know this because it was out of my vocal range by the time I was 14. I have also listened to countless covers of it on the internet and every single one of them failed to live up to the standard that Crush 40 set.
Every single one in the last 20+ years... until now.
Congratulations Johnny. You've done it. As far as I'm concerned you're the only one that has managed to successfully cover this song. You captured the original energy, you put your own spin on it but not so much that it no longers feels like Live and Learn. Your cover is the only one that made me feel like I was a kid again.

I remember when I first beat heard this song. I was showing a friend how hard the Bio-lizard, only to then finally beat said boss for the first time. After the following cutscene, this song lead to one of the greatest build ups I have ever seen for a final boss, and here I see it again.

The feeling of having the power necessary to stop the end of the world, entrusted by the heroes, and the many unheard prayers of the ones we must protect, can give anyone the boost to make it through.
