This fight clearly shows why rayo stopped teofimo 2 times in sparring. The kid keeps coming and shows a good chin even though I think they need to work on him not getting hit so much. The way I see it is ,Lopez tried to outmuscle him and rayo kept going at him with his own power and was probably just eating anything Lopez threw at him and he couldn't take what rayo was giving him while taking his best shots. Rayo is a pressure, awkward puncher and a Southpaw with power who keeps coming.

Yea Strahorn was a Hella of competitor. Them boys out of Cincinnati are normally pretty good, so expected some skill. Vanequella is a talent I came to check him out, alot of punches, angles and power his gonna be big

Very disappointed that was an early stoppage my boy Donte was good still. I guess he just waited a lil too long and the ref got worried. But that's a lesson learned now he knows he has to engage alot more and not wait on trying to tire out your opponent. That's a bad strategy anyway. In a fight you have to just go in and give it your ALL no matter what. If that fails well then the better man wins. But you did your best and gave it your all no one can 💩 on you for that

Valenzuela's shot is ALL power shot!
    He got a Power!
My concern is his defense need to be tight.
I saw some punches from his opponent landed many times to his jaw and if Valenzuela's opponent is a Hard hitter ,El Rayo is Going to sleep.

Kid shows excellent sportsmanship in the 2nd when Strathorn is bending down, not to unload on him. Lots of other fighters would've done differently there. I like Valenzuela. Kids got a great story. I dont want him to keep standing straight up like this anymore though, with his chin in the air, makes me real nervous for him. I think the Benavidez family adopted him not long ago...

  • @rekirenfro8503

Offense it the best defense, look at manny and mayweather. Manny's combo's and never ending combinations prevents him from getting hit and everyone saying that mayweather is just good with his shoulder roll but no, he's good at defending because he's also good at jabbing his jab is his best defense which is also an offense.

I agree with the comments about his defense. He looks good offensively and some defense, but In this fight, i don't like how he pops his head up@times after and during an exchange. He pops straight up, chin exposed and backs straight out, so if he does that against a more seasoned guy, with pop and a full camp, he could get hurt. Other than that he looks good for only 8 fights.

Not enough head movement from Strayhorn, if he doesnt check that he wont have a long career. As for Valenzuela leaves himself too open for counters, a good counter puncher with better head movement would end him.
