I noticed on twitter Rebecca spoke about the chickens and eating their eggs. I just wanted to say, it’s not a waste to not eat them as chickens eat their own eggs to regain nutrients lost from laying the egg, so it’s better to feed the eggs back to them. Just as an fyi for either of you incase you didn’t know
The paths in this game are driving me mad. Dirt paths of two parallel channels (for wheels) with a grassy median are a result of cars. With horse-pulled carts the horses trample the grassy median, making a lane-wide single track of dirt. Without horses (foot traffic only) I imagine the track just gets narrower. Additionally, the grassy-median-two-track paths in this game, when making corners, seem to join single channels without creating a parallel channel for some cart's parallel set of wheels. The only logic I can think of for this is that each channel is a human walking path, but that results in inorganic paths like the single-track loop around the tree in the bottom left of the frame at 39:00, while the track's parallel partner for any single tile makes up its own mind. The "T" intersection down the road from the lumber camp at the same time is also a good example. Does this art break the game? No. Does this behavior make the game less immersive or beautiful for most? No. Am I a bigger person for pointing it out? No, probably smaller. Am I still going to watch the whole vod? Yes. Will anyone else care? I hope not, unless they're in game development and having seen this might be more conscientious in the future.
Dan has been the best RUclipsr for the past 10 years for me 🙏🏾
