As per Wikipedia, Angerap is the name of a district in the former East Prussia which is now divided between Poland & Russian 'Kaliningrad'. The cognate 'angerap' is name of a native species of eel "which used to exist in large numbers" (now extinct? endangered? protected?). The lyrics of the song may refer to Imperial Germany's continental reach in East Europe, i.e. from the borders of East Prussia (broadly speaking, the Baltic) to Belgrade (=the Balkans north of Greece).
Precisely speaking, it's the name of a river. In Polish it's named Węgorapa (węgorz = eel) but this origin is actually Baltic-Prussian, ang-, ung (ungurys = eel in modern Lithuanian).
