This project is coming along nicely - with LOTS of dirt, Dirt Boss! Hope you get a nice day and big party tomorrow. Another year older, another year wiser, eh? BTW, love the new van.
WOW! Nicely done and shown around the halfway mark of this video. I agree with the change in placing STONE in the driveway for the reasons you said PLUS, I *CRINGED* at the thought of getting the tires dirty on that good looking dumper of yours! What a lot of work, money, equipment but man, it looks SO GOOD! Drive away proud!
im so surprised i don't see more tilt buckets on skid steers on the ole youtubes but i gotta say you finished product looks nice... move to oklahoma and run a dozer for me building roads... im tiered of finishing all the jobs lol...
A void no more, now a solid sub floor ready for concrete slab ! Compactor certainly makes short work of the sand, the rain proved it does a good job 💪💪💪 Driveway stoned up, will keep the neighbours happy to see no clarts on the road 😁
Kubota hit a home run on the new SVL 75.They addressed a lot of the customer reccomendations and its an all around oustanding machine.A lot of guys think you need EH controls,I'll stick to easily repaired pilot controls.
Yeah I know - *YOU* are the *DIRT BOSS* but this COMPACTOR is BOSS at what it does and SO much Quicker, Better and Moves excess to the side to be COMPACTED as well. Really gotta watch this thing! (Sorry, Mike, I was getting carried away) on a piece of equipment that does BETTER! Nice job all around! Thanks!!!
D-Boss!…nice job as always…I see on that new billboard van it doesn’t say masonry anymore, did you bronze your mag and hang it up…I don’t blame you, I think I just left my buckets of paver tools at the last job I finished a couple years back…haven’t missed any of them either…way better on my back just yanking levers now!…great video!
This kind of site prep for home building is new to me. Our frost line in about 16 " down on the coldest of winters. This is interesting and certainly a lot of work and expense for material.
I am interessted in this technic to make a beton cage stiffer. If the filling is on the top , will a beton concrete go over the filling ? Greetings from Germany
How much slower would a SVL-75 have been doing this job vs your big 94? The bigger machines are a must have for extremely heavy pallets or big heavy logs for the mill etc.. but anything loose like dirt/gravel I think the smaller machines aren’t really much slower unless you are tracking a long way.
Man mike, freaking awesome work as always, great job buddy, your new work van is sweet, are you gonna do a video on it, like a review or something, man the wrap on it looks sweet, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video 🇺🇲💪👌🤙✊
@@DIRT-BOSS oh ya for sure brother i agree i just wasnt sure if you knew i like to do it because the material we have in wyoming isnt as beautiful as you have so it packs harder with a smoother finish
@@DIRT-BOSS Yeah, the *BIG GUY* introduced that (Get the JOB DONE *COMPACTOR* ) around a year or so ago. Sure beats the staging ya gotta do with the "walk behind" and packs ever so much better! It's a "NO BRAINER" really!
It seems a shame to fill that area in with soil, I think I would use the space if I could, for a cellar or workshop or something and have a supported floor above!❤️👍
Mi dispiace Boss! hai fatto un riempimento poco furbo. Il terreno sotto diventa fango; dovevi mettere sassi grandi e via via più piccoli e per finire con la ghiaia. Roman Docet....
I'm surprised they aren't required to have density test done. If I threw a nuc on it, I would bet I would have to search for a 90%. The only places I would allow these to be used are slopes and narrow trenches, never under a slab.
@@bakedalaskan3815 trust me i agree.. these guys are hacks don’t let them tell h otherwise lol.. i’d NEVER post alotta the stuff they do .. but they explain their way out of the hackery and most ppl fall for it
Hey guys if your looking for good quality attachments at a great price check out Diesel Equipment

The Best.
You know it 💪
Neat attachment! My 4 year old son is learning how to use our gas powered compactor. He loves it. Gonna show him this video after church.
I would hire you in a minute.
Very handy attachment that compactor. Nice neat job. Good vid. Thanks
Always look forward to your videos. Thanks Mr. DirtBoss

I've noticed the new work van in a some other videos. I guess the old one finally had enough
Its resting
Nice balance between in cab commentary and outside the cab perspective. Really enjoyed this one.
Send orschell excavating a sticker he wants one of yours for his skiddy bucket 👍🏻
Done! ✅
Mike. You do quality nice work.
Lovely job dirt boss

I really like that tilt attachment on the skidsteer bucket. Is that a Diesel Attachment product too?
No that one is a bradco Palidin

Yes it cost more up north for sure
Well , I am a loyal channel follower from Munich Bavaria , I like your authentic videos , stay as you are .
Thanks
Always wondered why they don't use that as basement space instead of filling in?
Budget it would change the whole dynamic of the build
@@DIRT-BOSS Makes sense, thanks for the response!
Another fine job Mike, take care my friend stay safe and God bless.
Music rocks. Job well done boss
Least you can get to three sides makes it better for skid steer a little quicker to fill.
I've got a bomag jumping jack I bought 2 years ago at a heavy equipment place in albany I use for around the house jobs
Probably Able tractor right
@@DIRT-BOSS yup that the one!
I am interessted in this technic to make a beton cage stiffer. If the filling is on the top , will a beton concrete go over the filling ? Greetings from Germany
Yes concrete floor
@@DIRT-BOSS Thanks for the answer.

Well it's pound-for-pound the 75 will get it done obviously but bigger is better 😎
Gotta love that rolling billboard. I’ll keep my eye out for it
Is compacted sand that much cheaper than a non-compactable material in that area?
Yes
@@DIRT-BOSS intriguing
Nice vid. Test an ASV skid steer sometime, would take that any day over a kubota
It's got to handle a lot of dirt and rock
Probably making neighbors, considering how they're homes are built, stay safe big guy.
Do you ever use flowable fill or is it cost prohibitive?
Yeah I used it around utility trenches and conduits before but yeah it would also be very expensive and put a lot of weight on the wall for no reason
Where did you get that plate compactor? It looks like it was made in East Asia.
Diesel Equipment in NY
👌🤘🤘
Man mike, freaking awesome work as always, great job buddy, your new work van is sweet, are you gonna do a video on it, like a review or something, man the wrap on it looks sweet, thanks for sharing an I look forward to seeing the next video 🇺🇲💪👌🤙✊
Yeah I probably will do a video review if it interests viewers
@@DIRT-BOSS im interested pls do a vid on it
Why would someone throw away all that extra space?
So where does the rain water drain to, the neighbors property?
Basically a drainage easement between all properties
@@DIRT-BOSS interesting
Is that a perm drain in the garage?
Footing drain in the bottom goes around the whole house then to daylight
Is that a dirt perfect sticker I see on your skid steer
Hes on Skid steer
@DIRT-BOSS be careful as @dirtpeefect has a problems with these machines and don't like them so he might want u to put it somewhere else lol
Don't tell Dirt perfect how good Kubota skid steers are you 'll lose a friend for life HaHa.
He knows deep down he misses that 🍊
Im not sure why dirt perfect's kubota was trash? But it would give him so many problems. This one is good abd reliable👍
you know you can run constant power on those hoepacks and push and pull makes it look and pack better buddy great job love the videos an work
Yeah I think it overkill tho less wear n tear is my thought 🤷
@@DIRT-BOSS oh ya for sure brother i agree i just wasnt sure if you knew i like to do it because the material we have in wyoming isnt as beautiful as you have so it packs harder with a smoother finish
Mike, do you own that compactor for the excavator or do you just rent that attachment?
Yes that's mine
@@DIRT-BOSS Yeah, the *BIG GUY* introduced that (Get the JOB DONE *COMPACTOR* ) around a year or so ago. Sure beats the staging ya gotta do with the "walk behind" and packs ever so much better! It's a "NO BRAINER" really!
@@DIRT-BOSS That's got to be handy in your line of work.
Did any of that get density tested? If I ran in lifts like that, they would fail inspection.
Been tested so many times that compactor gets 101%
why would you fill those voids in with dirt and not turn them into a basement?
That's up to the customer & the builder I'm just the excavator
cut door's in for storage instead of filling those area's ??
Budget
They get the def problems fixed they will be good they all have that problem.
True
It seems a shame to fill that area in with soil, I think I would use the space if I could, for a cellar or workshop or something and have a supported floor above!❤️👍
It is but everything comes down to budget and design

Aye Guys; What a waste of good space.
i’ll take a jumping jack or trench roller ANY DAY over this thing lmfao
if there is a picky inspector thet would NEVER pass. insane amount of voids
