Not really, it doesn’t happen too often but it does happen once in a while. Has a lot to do with how the transmission is cared for and how the bike is ridden.

@@vtwinbuilder3129 my buddy has a Revtech 6 speed with straight cut gears and its really quiet. Makes no sense whatsoever...
