Rosemarkie C&CC Site and the Enchanted Fairy Glen Falls

- We visit the enchanted Fairy Glen Falls in Rosemarkie, and get a bit lost finding Cairds cave. Also, we are doggy-sitting on the campsite and the walk to Fairy Glen gives us a bit more than we bargained for!

This is video number 25 and a very good video it is too. Lovely camp site, right by the sea. The two walks you took were very different and were enjoyable with some fantastic views on the way. The waterfalls were lovely.

We stayed at Rosemarkie and was lucky enough to have a pitch on the front row overlooking the sea, fantastic.
That's a better pitch than we had, what a fab site eh?

That tree swing looked great fun! You take us to some lovely places, thank you. I hate it when the path I’m following kind of peters out - go back or carry on? Like you, I carry on. I’m making mental notes of all the lovely places you go for when we eventually get up to Scotland again. 💕🐾
Like you we hate dead ends, circular walks are best. That was a great walk and the swing was a bit of a surprise 😀

Caird's cave was just a bit further along the shore.. and is a true dark and damp cave! I took my son along using the beach a couple of years ago.. and his reaction was exactly the same. Like you I'd found the wrong one. If I'd only walked a little further I would have found the cave I was looking for. After walking a good mile to find it, my son's reaction was "is that it?" "It's an overhanging rock!" Not quite true.. I did take him back this year and found the actual one I had told him about. Good video!
Ah right, the tide was in and we couldn't go further and we did wonder if that was it. Maybe we will just need to go back again now we know its further around.
I am about to do the NC500 again in a Freda - can't wait :)

Hi Lynn, we have been doing this for 3 years but not been away nearly as much as we had planned due to covid and other things happening i.e. life getting in the way and we can't do many vlogs this year but next year there will be no holding us back. What ever you do, caravan, campervan, motorhome its all escapism on wheels and you can't beat it. Glad you found us, what took you so long? 😉👍🐾💕

What was the sticker soap dish thingy above the sink area on the window ? Hope one day you'll get to go to Mull. They have some awesome beaches and caves
The plasticy sticky on whatchamacallit with suckers thingmy bob on the van is a sticky on bath soap holder meant to stick on bathroom tiles sort of sticky on thing.

Thanks Duncan, just the washing up block open and not the toilets or showers. A few vans turned up that hadn't booked and were turned away.
