I have always lived in the country and had my own well. When I bought this place over 30 years ago, we dug 325' to reach water. The underground spring I get my water from comes down out of the mountains. Actually, the spring branches after my place and goes right into , or near, the town I live near. I am a great grandmother now and I have all the parts I was born with and never even had a cancer scare. I believe that a great deal of the medical problems people have today is caused by the drinking water. How clean can they get it, really? I won't drink water from anyplace but mine. I have the best tasting water you will ever find!! Stop drinking city water, you will live longer. My Aunt lived in Tuscon for many years and she suffered with a few different kinds of cancer until it finally took her life. I feel bad for the people who fell victim to this tainted water, it really is very sad.
