@@knittingmagic1 You’re right, you don’t know if you don’t try! I have a knitted coatigan which has turned up cuffs so this method would work a treat. I’m just someone who has a basic sewing box with cottons, needles and elastic, oh and buttons I cut off old shirts or blouses before binning. I don’t have a sewing machine but small alterations I can do. I tried this method on it with cotton because I have no wool 🤷🏻♀️ yep, it didn’t work but I saw the concept in principle. I just need to go to a charity shop and look for odd balls of wool, then try again 😉 The thing that puts me off a sewing machine is the threading of it and the spool. At secondary school I chose needle work but spent most of the time threading and untangling it🧵 It put me off for life but I love watching others work their magic like you and picking up useful tips like this one 😊 🪡

Entendo o seu ponto, mas mostrei 2 métodos em apenas 7 minutos, o que dá cerca de 3,5 minutos para cada um. Não é tão longo, na minha opinião. Mas você sempre pode acelerar o vídeo se necessário! 😊

Вы правы, есть другие способы укоротить рукав. Но данный конкретный способ - про то, как сделать это, НЕ отрезая сам рукав.
