Bought it a week ago and tested it today (22 august 2019) with sunflower seeds. Did not work, only a black cake was produced, no oil visible. Cannot give a good advice, sorry.

hmm, i wonder if they need to be deshelled first, or if it takes more to make an oil? i saw somebody make linseed oil with a piteba and the miniscule amount of oil it created from the massive amount of flaxseed oil, was pretty impressive haha

Hello! Did you use an oilseed sunflower? Only certain varieties of sunflower seed are capable of being pressed for oil.
