The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

There are so many brands, I just want to buy the one that I see that you are using, because I can see how it works, by the way that you are using it, and I don't have an to try a different brand and not get the same easy results that I see that you are successful with. They're called Brad nails probably about 1 to 1.5 inch nails, with some wood glue would last a long time. Hope this helps
