Love how you make repetitive tasks like feeding interesting. Editing is great! Also glad you’re adding cross braces. The strongest shape is a triangle I believe.
Drainage working great 👍👍👍👍 Cold damp rainy days miserable 🥶 The heated vest awesome ❤❤❤ Thank you for the update on the Barn 😁 Really enjoyed the video 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Love from the UK x
I have to admit, I was concerned when you had not mentioned cross bracing in any videos. I can breath a sigh of relief now that you have mentioned cross bracing.
Hi Joel - always enjoy your videos - thanks for sharing! Soo here's a dumb question, but when bad weather hits, and if you have not had the chance yet to get the horses back in the barn, do they ever just come up and want to come in? Of course, if the gates are closed they can't get in, but maybe they would be telling you hey, let us in! haha Do horses have heated blankets? I assume that when the blankets get wet, they are going to get cold too.. :-)
roxiblair My brother raises race horses. They all find the best place out of the wind and huddle together, back to the wind. They're Ohio horses so their winter coats come in very warm. A neighbor used to call animal welfare on him, and they had to explain to her, it's the proper handling of horses. She finally quit calling on him.
Hi Joel, I have a question for you, do keep shoes on the horses or are they bare hoofed. Just asking, because we had several horses many years ago and we kept shoes on ours all time. And we never had problems with there hoofs. Just wondering.
I am wondering why you didn’t take the opportunity, while there looking around, to help some of those puddles to drain off by making a few little shallow ditches 2”-3” wide. The more you can help establish drain flow the better right now. Don’t need frozen, icy puddles.
For us non farmers or stable keepers the 28th of November was called THANKSGIVING this year. Pray that yours was a good and safe one. 🙏😘
Loved how Gavin typed Sara in huge letters when she was up close and personal to the camera😂
I know you monitor the older horses closely, i Love seeing Honey happy to eat her grain🥰.

Is Gavin not around any more. I miss him
I think he only works one day now.
He edits the videos, note the names of the horses. Plenty of Gavin but we always want more 😊
Thanksgiving day off?
Nothing goes acrost it goes across. Lol
Why haven't we seen the veggie boys over helping build the hay barn? You help them plant crops, why don't they help with the new barn?

The horses neck and head are exposed when its raining. Aren't they wet?
Is 'acrossed' dialect or does it have another meaning than across? Never heard any one but Joel say this.
Did you notice that there was dripping from George's roof?
JOEL you need a dinner bell or whistle to call the horses in. Save your voice.
How come you are five days behind
Come on! This is all free content, give the man a break! He has a job too.
Bad weather?
