Hey Red can you do me a favor? Let me see the bottom of the sunroof lid so I can see what those felt feet slides look like so I can make sure I get the correct ones. Mine crumbled into 1,000,000 pieces when I closed my sunroof the other day
I recently rebuilt my 300sd sunroof. That cable should easily slide in there with no effort. Some dry spray Teflon lube can help. Same with the sunroof, it should easily slide by hand without cable. There are some rubber and felt things that push up sunroof, replace them if needed with OEM. The URO front and rear seals are excellent. Front seal installs best loosening pan in front a little instead of trying to force it in. A good side seal that I found better than OEM was some strips of black yoga mat. It confirms perfectly to mislaignment in sunroof. Finally before you put interior pieces of roof back on, take it to a car wash and observes for leaks, especially with the dryer blowers.
I still wonder if most of your problem with it is just that the tracks for the panel needed to be lubed. They are exposed to the elements and would lose any lube on them.
As I was removing the cable, it was under a LARGE amount of stress. I should have noted that in the video. The worm gear on the cable was caked in grease until I sprayed it down with brake clean.
@@ImpalamansGarage I saw these videos out of order so now I know it was not just the tracks. I'm still not touching mine! Tilting it is enough for now. Lol

Dear, I would like to know about adjusting the clutch of the sliding roof motor. How many Nm should it be tightened? and where can I find this manual.

Hello,
What is the nut size ? (Pitch size)
That I do not know. Would need removal to measure.

Putting it back in again is the trick!
@@ImpalamansGarage call in a snake charmer! great job jokes aside

There is a reason why the cable was moving so slowly as I removed it. LOL..... The sucker was IN THERE.
