I’ll take the free stuff, but I wouldn’t be interested in the Roman camouflages or the Centurion, anyway. It’s a shame this wasn’t better thought-out (I’m someone who normally really enjoys Roman history).
I said NO to Hadrian's paywall for Roman Quest 3 and spent my 2000 denari from Roman Quest 2 on Promotion Orders. Already earned Marco Polo from whatever event awarded it and don't need a skinned clone.
Just another greedy scam by war gaming their pricing model is just horrible and wwy to expensive compared to some other games that i play like STO which i thought was bad but compared to war gamming they are cheap
5000 dubs per skin, x4 (Leono, Veneto, Lepanto, Colombo) 20,000 dubs total 5000 dubs per guise. 10,000 dubs per tier 5 (Leone) 12,500 dubs per tier 6 (F. Ferruccio) 25,000 dubs per tier 8 (Centurion) Total face value dubs cost: 72,500 dubs. Total actual cost of everything: 22,500 dubs. Make your own decision if that's worth it to you.
Think of it this way, it's essentially a giant all encompassing event bundle similar to the Azur Lane and Arpeggio collabs, but with some missions and an event currency thrown in.
I ran into VII Hipper in a match a week or so ago. Still a very good player, he was still rocking an agile cruiser. I think he was playing Eugen if I’m remembering correctly. I liked Hipper and I think some of the newer, smaller, weaker player CCs did him dirty. They will never get a sub from me.
Yeah he was on the red team in a battle I had a few weeks ago but never spotted him for a shot. His team was really bad and they folded quickly. I like Hipper as well and enjoyed his Legends content but he's focused on other games rn
Other than the WG paywall wonderful idea, I loved the fact that in a “Roman Empire” event, mainly about skins… there is no skin for the Roma!!! WTF… And instead of the Marco Polo clone “Centurion” they could have put the “Impero” the never launched fourth Littorio class battleship…
You have to look at the positive For only 3k doubloons you get 3 legendary skins, the good chance the win a TIME limited cruiser, and then get 5 spring crates with chance of winning another premium, or half tour doubloons back. The odds sounds pretty good too me
Disappointed to get another t6 right after Zara. I really want a damn T7 premium lmao And after buying the guise that i (wish was a male) i get left with 1000. which isn't enough for anything. Which is annoying and I'm not dumb enough to spend the extra to use it
Not much of an event if you literally just shell out doubloons until you get what you desire lol. If Centurion had 6-7.5 base secondary range I might have considered it.
Sounds like the easy thing to have done is release a Skin for Marco Polo. Besides, Centurion is a "oh you missed the Marco polo campaign give us money and we'll give it to you with a special skin.
I misjudged this as well. Saw they were paying for themselves early on and didn't dig deep enough...hit Hadrian's paywall😮. I've had Leone for a while and can live without Centurion, but sure would like to have those Roman skins. If the camos are all you want it really doesn't cost very much. Thanks for the video TB👍

What I'd like to know is with the global xp discount through the code that was listed between the Paolo Emilio and Roma, which is better? I enjoy playing both battleships and DD's.
Nice video but total garbage campaign theme and garbage rewards. Cosmetic skins which have no advantage at all and stuff, for real money and real time? Big pass. second campaign I will completely pass. Everybody was explaining the weak updates with christmas time but now they are still weak and I beleave WG is just suffering from losing paying players and as such cannot afford devs anymore. They keep recycling stuff and you can count new things on one finger. If you compare this to the 100 Persons working at Arrowhead who did Helldivers 2 and now they pump out new content every 4 weeks really for free or collectable with gameplay, thats a totally new story and blames WG to shame.
That random employee: "Should we let players get the Leone by playing the game?"

Sadly that's how corporation works. The (greedy) one who made the most profit got promoted and probably leading the team right now

worst part for me is getting credits for leone .. like why would i pay doubloons for that at least give me back some currency
i went through the assignments until i'd have to pay. then i just spent the rest on crates. shouldn't have to spend $60 for some skins...
