    Nice vid. I'm just doing a Crafter and my electrical system is very similar to yours, I've got the 460AH Fogstar, Victron mppt 100/20 with 3
    2 x 175W panels on the roof (I may upgrade the mppt later) I have the Victron Orion 12/12/30 and the lynx distributer, I've gone for the Victron Multiplus II 12/3000/120, which is equivalent to your Fogstar charger and Renogy Inveter. All in all a very similar system, I'm potentially going to put my 12v fusebox over the sliding door in a cupboard and distribute all the circuits from there. I'm also thinking of a no-gas van at the moment, Induction hob and most likely an air fryer of some description. Thanks for the video, it's been helpful and informative.

      Think a lot of people are going with no gas in there builds these days. Good luck with your build hope it turns out just as you want it and get all the enjoyment out of your van

    I am doing a very similar setup myself. I noticed you have not wired up the fuse lights on the lynx yet? I got my 12v-5v step down converter just need to get around to doing it. I didn't know when I purchased my Lynx that the lights on the front would not work properly unless you hack a wire to the RJ45 port or have the full system. Thankfully RUclips had a couple videos how to do it.

      I am not really to worried about the indicator lights on the distributor as if a fuse blows I am sure I will be aware of it. Just a lot of faff for some lights 😊

    How are you handling the safety issue of the senorgy inverter being centre tapped?

    Nice video well explained. I'm on the process of designing my peugeot boxer electrical dc/ac . Learning about fuses , cable sizing and voltage drop. Going victron route as like yourself I want to be electric and no gas. Done a power audit now just got to sell a kidney to get the blue stuff 😂.

      Thanks I know the feeling sold both kidneys to get all the items needed 😂 working out cable size you can use this link on 12v planet www.12voltplanet.co.uk/cable-sizing-selection.html
      Also if it helps the maximum cable size you can fit into the victron mppt and dc to dc is 16mm.

    What size is the cable to the distributor and from there to the Inverter?
    3000w/12 is some 250 Amps, that cable doesn't look big enough for 250 Amps, if it is ok, do you have the spec for the cable, thanks.

      @VanlifeVentures  Месяц назад

      The cable is 40mm which has an amp rating of 300amp

      I was just goin to ask the same question, if you used the wires that came with the inverter then be careful because they are not capable of handling the amount of current drawn when the inverter is at maximum capacity.

      I ditched the cables that came with it defiantly not up to spec think there 25mm so only have a rating of about 170amps

      @@VanlifeVentures I look forward to seeing how the 40mm2 cables handle the amps, I've got the same inverter and will be doing my electrics soon.
