I had a lot of fun (so did Kelvin!) riding this new e-bike from Haoqi! It is large and comfortable but also quite nimble. It just felt good!

About 20 years ago I had a friend living in Bonnie Lake that had an amphicar. When I was down from Alaska visiting he took me for a ride in on the lake. We drove into the water in a place that looked like where you rode on you bike today. It looks like you are traveling plenty fast and stable on the bike. Looks like fun.
That was probably over at Lake Tapps, just 1/2 mile from this little lake. I remember seeing that on the lake now and then! Pretty cool! 😊

Hi 👋, Phil , that looks to be a great bike, The scenery looks very nice where you live, I will have a look 👀 to see how much they are, and if they are available in France, I have nearly got my floor done in my workshop/garage, there seems to be quite a few different models, but a present I cannot see Canel, I’ll have another look later, but I do see over in your Neck of the woods they look like they 1700 to just over 2 1/2 thousand dollars, Look forward to Woodturning tomorrow,

I like the bike also, but I would wear gloves in case I would take a spill , could save the skin on your hands..
It is also smart to travel closer to the center line, so on coming traffic can see you better and sooner...
Agree, I need to get gloves for riding. 😊 If I was riding my motorcycle, I would hog the center line. Around here, doing that on a bicycle just invites someone to run into you!

Cool, thanks, Bob! So far, my favorite (you will be seeing a few more) is my HeyBike although I just tested another one that is a close second. My wife and I traveled to Philadelphia in 2002. We stayed downtown in an old hotel that had been remodeled. We had rented a car but found it easier to get around on foot or in some of the tourist conveyances. We had a great time! 😊

Top speed as it sits is 20 mph, Jon. I'm sure there is a way to get into the settings to change that to 28 mph. 😊

Washington State law says bicycles and ebikes do not have to stop at stop signs or intersections. Use your best judgement.

Im sorry if I missed something, why would you have to get off the bike at a stop sign? Anyway I think stop signs are just a suggestion 😂
Can't reach the ground while sitting on the seat, Clyde. Some bikes, maybe but not most. Turns out, in this state, we don't have to stop, anyway! 😊
How big of a pain was it to assemble?
Almost all the ebikes now are pretty easy to put together. This one just needed the front wheel and fender installed and slide the handle bars into place and install the pedals. That was it. Maybe 20 minutes. 😊
Does it come with the front and back baskets?
They have different specials at different times, Bryan. At the time they sent this to me, it came with the child seat. They changed it to something else right after that and have probably changed it, since. They do have a front basket for it but I didn't get it. 😀

I see yeah I ordered mine and it's coming with the front and back baskets! You have the child seat? Do you think there's a way you can modify the child seats to have and adult on the back? Like with the foot parts as pegs? Or just the seat part without the rails?
@@TheBryan209 I suppose you could rig up a padded seat pretty easily. Then get some clamp on foot pegs and away you go!
Or...if you weigh over 300 lbs. This may help a person lose a little weight along the way.

The road around the lake is one way. That is a bike/walk lane and people use it in both directions. I was actually going the correct direction for cars. 😊
