Nice Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a good exclusive guide for learning piano fast without the headache. Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my best friend Jordan finally got great success with it.

If you can play it slowly, you can play it quickly.
-Ben Lee 2018
That’s not true.
@@harrybalszak7526 I know. Its a joke.
It's only possible with the daily 40h Ling Ling work out tho.
Lol :)
You quote this in a sarcastic way yet you don't understand that he's actually right
"and then slowly speed up..."
*reaches speed of light in 3 seconds*
Once you speed it up enough it becomes a Boogie Woogie.
listening to this on 0.25 speed feels like being instructed by some sort of drunken blues master.
Oh yeah 😂
Cool
Lol
Ya not wrong
Lol. I thought exactly the same thing. 2.5 might as well be called slur, but it’s the speed I need.
Lick 1 0:36
Lick 2 2:10
Lick 3 3:10
Lick 4 4:50
Thank you
Thx a lot man
Thanks, @PianoPig I think you should add this to your description too, it's very usefull when you practice. Thanks for your teaching ! You're a king ;)
God bless you sir
Lick you very much.
Thanks dude. Would be great if you show us some examples with this licks in practical use.
I really enjoy yr teaching and how you repeat it several times.
It gives it a chance to sink in. Thanks
Gary
I like the very jazz like chords in the left hand. It really compliments the sound.
Great feature...writing down note sequence...then listening numerous times...playing at the same time slow mo works for me... problem is I have saved enough for several years work! Thanks. Mike
this lesson is pure gold
O melhor vídeo de blues que já vi. Muito obrigado professor!!! Ganhou um fã no Brasil ^^
4:39 man couldent you just play a c in the end and my ears wouldve been happy
Great videos man.
I find that these licks are complimented by my glass of whiskey.
Haha I can imagine ;)
Cool licks! And thank you for such a detailed showing! I'm curious to know - how you find which note sequences (right-hand) sound "bluesy" and which not? Can you share any rules or patterns or any reference to read about?
4:53.
im leaving this here for my own use
Second lick is SUPER Sweet bad Great BLUES!!!!!
I simply loved those easy to follow blues links. You've shown me how to follow what I hear in my head. Thank you 😊
Wow man, thank you for posting this! You should add a disclaimer that some/most of those tasty licks are a little jazzy as well haha. Great job & thanks again.
J have played guitar and keyboards much of my life. I just ordered a keyboard. Your explanation of how to play is so basic but totally essential for learning piano and keyboard techniques. I hit the like button and I will be watching the videos once I get the new keyboard. I appreciate your efforts teaching how to play piano and keyboard.
No worries - happy to be able to help!

i like this video mainly because he shows you slowly unlike others, very detailed, thank you
3:11 What chords are you playing?
Cm9 - Ab13 - G7(#5)
@@Piano_Pig Thanks for the response....Does this mean that the lick in the key of G? (since many blues licks land on the I7 chord)....is it customary to land on the #5/b6 note in the melody? ...This had me thinking the lick was in the key of E flat, because after playing the lick, when I hit the lowest 2 E flat octave notes as a finale at the end of the lick it sounded very final, but when I hit the lowest G octave notes, after playing the lick, it doesn't sound as final...any insight into this? Thank you!
@@Noah-wv4td thanks for the response...im still confused tho. Ur saying G7 is the 5 of the key, so the lick is in C? I still dont get why it sounds final when i hit ocatve E flats after playing the lick, which makes it sound like the lick is in E flat. When i hit octave Cs after playing the lick it doesn't have that "final" sound. Does that make sense?
This channel really needs more attention. You make awesome Blues tutorials! Thank you for the tutorial :D
It's quite a new project so the channel hasn't been around too long! But it is slowly growing and I hope to build a big community :)
Thanks for the nice comment - hope you enjoy the rest of the videos!
I always wonder. A lick like #2. Should you just learn to play it with one set of fingering for all keys? At first it seems awkward because some keys sounds weak. But on the other hand it is a lot easier to remember it and to move it around in all keys when you don't have to also work out a different strategy for each key.
Thanks for taking time to do this !!
No worries! 😀
well, some are expecting a C, a resolution according to their views -and maybe the messiah himself-...why note ...as far as i am concerned, this is a fantastic job doing by PianoPig, crystal clear, beautiful, helpful, so helpful i can play it on a thai instrument called khim.Really grateful
Great licks. I hope you do another round
J'ai cherché mais... vous êtes le meilleur ! Très content
Will you do a video on left hand for the licks
I liked these and incorporated them! 🖤🎹
You are a good teacher Sir
Thank you very much for all these good explanations.

Man, those are tasty licks!! Very cool!
Happy to have found you
Can you comment on the left hand voicing and progression on the 4 th lick? Interesting !
I finally found !! This was what I wanted to learn !!!!!!!
Awesome!
Cool licks
Is the first lick, by any chance, based off of the theme song from a show called "blossom"? The show being "my opinionation"?
You very smart for teaching!!!!!
Hey Daniel, you requested info regarding kindred hearts. Were you able to get info? If not, let’s discuss...
Awesome video! Thanks ❤️
Could you please explain what is the chord progression you use with your left hand on the 4th lick? Sounds so mean
Great, thanks!
Amazing ! How can we transpose the first leak to its relative minor ? (From C major to A minor in this case)
I LOVE It. Thanks you! 😎
Thank YOU for watching 😀
I am really really new to the piano so im sorry for this question in advance. What do you call what the left hand is doing vs what the right hand is doing? Im trying to learn some of the notes to play on my left hand and don’t know what to look up.
Superb, Please add the left hand , so we can learn chords with licks...mind redoing this to include left tutorial
dude you're the greatest
how are the bass chords made?
00:39 "And in my opinion-ation, the sun is gonna surely shiiiiiine...."
nice ..thanks bro
Do you have sheet music of these licks?
What is the time signature of the first lick?
If I'm playing a song in Cmaj, and my left hand is playing the C, can I play any of the notes in the following scales as the melody with my right hand: C Lydian, C Dorian, C Lydian-Dominant, or C Half-Dimished scale?
Idk
Just discovered your channel. I've subscribed.
Awesome! :)
I wonder... how many licks will it take to get to the center of the Bluesy Pop?
Very handy!
Did you see that c major expresso in blue 8 9th oved then 5th
What's the chords that left hand play in lick three?
So take for example the first lick. It sounds a bit like an ending. Im having a hard timing placing the licks in the 12 bar blues. When should i play them?
Is there somewhere we can download and print the music for this?
Master!!
Wonderful. Could you post an Oscar Peterson's lick? Thanks
Did you do all that in the key of C?
That second lick was it bro.... Yessir!!!!😆 tickled
Haha glad you liked it man :)
It seems that these licks are based on plagal cadences (IV-I), possibly stemming from Gospel.
Esses links é demais. Muito top. Ganhou um inscrito aqui do Brasil
gostei bastante também
Start of lick 1 - 0:37
Can you show us how to play the intro music
Already done it! Look up 'intro chords' on my channel :)
Hi, could you please let me know in licks no 3 and 4, which chord progression is it actually? like in lick 1, it is definitely G - C. What about lick 3 and 4? Thanks
Hi. I'm no expert, I'm learning watching Pianoapig, but in my opinion, I think he uses rootless chords. In lick 3 Cm7-9, Ebm6-9 and Fm7b7 (or Db7-9). Lick 4 is similar: Cm7-9, DbM7 (or Bbm7-9) Ebm6-9 and Fm7b7. Not sure of the notation, but hope it helps.
Hi, we are learning this song by Horace silver which goes by the name "Strolln". I would like your opinion regarding the type of scale to use.
GREAT CHANNEL BY THE WAY! I watch at least one of your videos everyday.
Just subscribed..thanks
I play the guitar but i love this chanel
Liked and subscribed to your Chanel thanks mate 👍
Glen 🎹
Very nice. I have a question. Why if you re playing in the c blues scale, you play notes that are not in the scale?
When improvising, scales are just a guide. There are no wrong notes and you can ultimately play whatever you want. If you chose a single scale and only every played those notes, it would get very boring after a while!
Federico Egli it’s called grace notes.
I got the first 2 licks down, but the 3rd lick is tricky because there are 2parts
where does the beat sit in lick 3?
Great video awesome licks,,, but hay how about a free (PDF) can never get the notations written down quick enough,, Woo,, see the dude's fingers roll,,,one day i tell you one day so cool.
How do I know when I can play a lick and when I shouldn’t
Could you name the key being played in in your riffs?
C
Cool!!
what key are these licks in?
I want to learn how to play the piano from the song "Feeling at Home in The Presence of Jesus". Please help me or do a video about it.

Thanks man :) Appreciate the kind comment, glad you found it useful!
From were are you. Were do you live
Are licks in c major
Lick 1 played in so many different feels, where is the beat/triplets/16th?? Tried to write it for memorising....it seems an odd length, but played so many ways, I'm not sure how to learn it to be useful...
Nice one piano 🐖
I dont get how there are e’s in the licks because that’s not in in the c blues scale right?
Louis Schneidt that’s right but he was mostly using it as a passing tone
I’m 9 years but these are kind of hard
My respecty
so cool..
( In top 10 yt er voice)Number 4, the fortnite default dance. The number four blues lick voted by the fans was the fortnite default dance song.
