Craziest live show I've ever been to was The Acacia Strain's Continent & After The Burial's Rareform 10 Year Tour. When TAC opened with Skynet it was absolute fucking chaos. It was their hometown show in Worcester too so it was extra special.
Meshuggah and deftones put together.. never thought it would work, but it just does. Hopefully yhe new album is as good as this one and the ones before Sharptone because they don't have anything I can't listen to in full.
Such a HUGE sounding band. Even my friends that arent really fans of this style and more into pure Hardcore were like “holy shit they sound insane! 😯” and were mesmerised staring at the stage.
Exactly! Saw them on the blind obedience tour, absolutely the largest sounding band I've heard live. Brought some friends too who are more into the indie rock scene. They are now loathe fans 😂
Might’ve just been to some shows not mixed as good. I’ve seen a couple of bands numerous times and sometimes they don’t sound as good not saying they ever sound bad though.
At the beginning of the video when Aggressive Evolution started, the second it started, it sounded like the album version for how good it sounded but it’s just them being so tight, I can’t wait to see this band
Loathe is one of those bands I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of. Their music continues to improve with every release and seems to be better every live performance. I hope their new album in the works delivers the same feeling “I Let It In And It Took Everything” did for me. I hope for the best for this band, they have done so much and still have so much more room to continue.
I'm just hearing this band for the first time! Soooo impressed! I've shared this with 20 people! The songs, vibe, crowd and THAT GUITAR TONE IS NEXT LEVEL!!!
Damnnn those Gretch guitars sound fuckin massive! Loathe just sound massive overall 👌 They need a rig rundown, I would LOVE to know how they play instrumentally!
Got one myself. It's fucking massive sounding with the right rig. I tried it at a store before buying it and I ran it through a 5150 with V30's and it shook the house. I did have to do a lot of tweaking with the real 5150 just to tame the bottom end lol. I currently use an Axe Fx 5150 set up with an Orange 2x12 with V30's (set up similar to the ampsim used by Loathe on Neural DSP w/Gojira/Plini). It's so similar, it sounds exactly like the recording here. Lots of bottom end and super clear in both recording and live! The cleans don't disappoint too, it's got a maple neck and mahogany body so it's got body but isn't too bright, great for mids. My only issue is how hot the mini-humbuckers are, they'll buzz like a bitch if you don't run a gate either before or after the drive. Regardless I can't endorse this guitar enough, it's worth the price and does everything I want from it and more. It's affordable, built surprisingly well, and unique amongst the sea of super-strat and tele baritones.
@@BetaBreaking Have you managed to get a similar sound via neural? I've been chasing this tone for so long with the same guitar aswell and only have been using neural and have not got even anything close
@@notanalt.5922 Honestly I just used the Neural trial for both ampsims and just took down all the settings and matched it on my AxeFX. It's really close, I use the same gauges and everything as Loathe. I'd say the only issue is that I think Erik uses stacked amps. The 5150 can handle a lot of bottom end but the top can get lost in a mix, so he probably runs an amp on top dedicated solely to the high end. My Lowcut is 55hz and my Highcut is 8000-10000hz depending on the day and song. I used the 5150 Red Channel, or whatever the heavy rhythm channel is, with 6/7 gain with a thing called Hard Fuzz as the drive. LVL is at max and gain is at 2, the tone is at 4. The Hard Fuzz is a based on the Fender Bender Fuzz. It provided a lot to sound. My Cabs are sims of a Marshall 4x12 and Orange 4x12 with V30's. I boost the 1k, and 8k by 2dB and cut 250 range. I'm pretty sure I have another cut somewhere in the treble to get rid of any transient sounds.
The most excited I’ve been about a band in many years. I’ve seen them live once, seeing them again this year & I just keep watching this performance on repeat. Unreal!
This feels like the definitive live document of the might of Loathe's 'I let it in and it took everything' era. Massive sounding and brutal as fxxx!! Everyone very excited and looking forward to the new album this year! 👍👍
It's honestly beautiful seeing a bunch of people losing themselves in the music. You don't get this kind of raw emotion and connection in a space very often
this is a great mix of the live audio as well as direct board audio. also first soundboard audio full set of Loathe i’ve seen, with Is it rlly you on the set list as well. love this upload

That's hilarious. I chuckled out loud.
Jesus christ. I cannot wait to finally see this band live

had the pleasure of seeing them 3 times now, they get better with each show I swear
They’re fucking incredible live! Saw them when they toured with Code Orange! Also, I meet Kadeem! He signed my vinyl, and I took a picture with him!
love your videos man you deff need to come UK and see all our great bands - keep on chuggin
Absolutely dude, they’re so humble. I was able to trade guitar picks with Erik and Kadeem signed all my stuff ‼️

Someone had this on a sign when I saw them live
I'll decorate my house with that shit
24:20 the lighting messing with the camera's exposure looked so fucking clean
Right, the lighting was so dope :'v
Every recording of Gored is the heaviest live experience I've ever witnessed

it’s like there’s no way it can get any heavier.. every time... and then, somehow it does lmao
I had to stop what I was doing to stare at the screen when the intro finally dropped. It was THAT heavy.
