This trigger is what introduced me to ASMR back in early 2012. I was sitting next to my mom at the dinner table and she was looking through the local newspaper. The sound when she turned the pages was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. Stood up, went to my laptop and googled "sound of turning newspaper pages". Thats when I first read about ASMR and watched a video from one of the earliest ASMRtists who turned newspaper pages.
