HMS Prince of Wales Liverpool 2020

The first visit of HMS Prince of Wales to Liverpool 2020.
My heart sank when I looked at the weather forecast for today. Heavy Rain and strong winds!
Still, despite all of this plenty of people turned out to watch the aircraft carrier appear out of the gloom.
The biggest challenge was keeping rain away from the camera and still taking photographs and videos. Also, surviving the adverse weather conditions.
Despite cold hands I did what I planned and here's the results.
Thanks to EVERYONE for making this event happen. Thanks also to the crew and staff of Mersey Ferries who run the service to Liverpool so I can get these pictures.
Hope you all get to see this most incredible 65,000 ton vessel in the River Mersey.
