Alfa Romeo Giulietta | Overlooked & Underrated?

- 10 years of production and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta could just be the most overlooked car in it's class! It never scored highly during car reviews or group tests when it came out - or even after it's mid-life facelift, but how will history remember the Giulietta? In this video I take a look into the popular 1.4 litre model to see how good it really is...
Please like, subscribe and comment what you think of the Giulietta, have you ever owned one or would you buy one now over it's rivals?
Leave any suggestions for things I could do better down in the comments below - I can definitely improve with my videos and the only way is up!

Excellent review, an honest appraisal not swayed by the prejudges of the 'press-titutes' pack because it's not a VW and it's pedals are off set, the press who even though they ALL said ALL the important aspects of the car were great (drive ability handling engines) slagged it off any way. But your review has convinced me to buy one (couldn't up to now for various reasons and the car mags reviews nearly put me off) When you said "it was not sensible buying decision but one for your heart more than your head" it reminded me of the time James May said that 'when you are in an Alfa Romeo you feel like you are in an Cafe in Milan and when you are in an Audi you feel like you are in a post office in Hamburg. But it is is your authenticity and natural delivery style that makes this review (Grand Tour new season for you!). Keep it up you are a genuine addition to motoring journalism. (Could maybe get a better camera tho' -) :-) I rarely do comments but had to for this, well done.
Mikey this truly means a lot and is massively motivating to hear so it is hugely appreciated! I couldn’t agree more with you, what you get out of owning an Alfa is so much more than just ‘the thrills of a left field option’ and that James may quote sums it up perfectly! I appreciate the words - I won’t forget them for a long long time and a new camera is definitely needed! Definitely keep me posted on your incoming Alfa, it’d be great to hear your opinion on it too.
Yea buy one. Got a 150 diesel recently, really does shift. 44 mpg with my foot down. Absolutely love it and 2 grand cheaper than a much slower bmw 1 at the same age. No contest.
Currently shopping around for my first car purchase and think this may be the one. Thank you for the great content x
Thank you Faith I appreciate that! It’s a great choice and definitely something a bit different which is always nice!
Great video mate , can see you going far in the car youtube space
Thanks Todd I appreciate that it means a lot and glad you enjoyed!
Brilliant review, I had two versions of this car, 1.4 petrol and 1.9 Diesel, both very reliable during ownership. I had Alfa Romeosfor over 20 years, stunning looking cars, and very different.
Thanks Dougie I appreciate that! Oh mega, a sentiment I can definitely agree with and get behind. It would be great to get your opinion on the new Alfa Romeo Tonale that recently got released!
@@GenuinelyLAS You are very welcome. Your review was one of the best that I have seen, honest and not overly long. I shall report back on the Tonale.
That means a lot! Definitely a style I’m going for and let me know your thoughts! Also if you have any thoughts on the 147/156 GTA one of them I definitely will want to get in the not too distance future!
