Hi. I have one of these on our capping machine. Is there something that can go wrong in slip hub. Our conveyor not moving, and there's nothing that stuck there, so it should work but this hub keep slipping.
Hi Artur - thanks for your comment. Generally speaking, this could be one of two things :- 1). The friction linings have worn so that the sliphub has now lost its ability to transmit the torque it was set at. If the linings are still intact and in good condition, you could tighten the adjusting nut to increase the torque again. If not, drop us an email at sales@mayr.co.uk and we can provide you a quotation for some new linings (or new unit depending on the condition). 2). The load torque has changed on your conveyor which is exceeding the sliphubs set torque.
