Naming the Dog Peter would have been too savage.

My Dad always favored the name of his grandfather, George. It is nice that he didn’t gave us daughters the names; Georgina, Georgia and Georgette! Even our brother DAVID escaped that!
He received his name from both his grandfathers, as did my only male cousin, “Big Dave” - my brother was known as “Little Dave”.
Be kind but creative in baby names, as they will be known for life by their name.

A great-grandfather a few generations back from me, was 1 of 11 children, so we have more names to choose from than relatives to name!
We also have incorporated some names as 1st and middle names to the same child, or blended names from both grandparents

The Peter, I'm sure the OP will give an update about what will happen at the wedding.

In our family, and for many generations, babies are named are named in part or whole after a family member. It is a cute and loving way to include that relative’s name in our family history by name❤😄.
Since both parents on my dad’s family had sisters with the same first name, we have their name generations later.
There is NO reason to be petty about honoring a baby with a favored relative’s name in part or whole, and it should be considered an honor to the baby and relative’s name.
    * My sister named her oldest daughter Sarah Elizabeth after all those in past generations on both sides of my Dads’ family.

If you leave the house, and don't lock the doors thats how you get robbed, or else you get squatters.

5th story: That's just like in my family--every other name was "Frank". Thank goodness my father didn't get that name but his brother did as well as his father & son (my ex cousin). Believe me, that's too many Frank's! 😊

A text-to-speech voice cannot control how it pronounces acronyms.

A text-to-speech voice cannot change how it pronounces acronyms.
      But yeah, it *is* annoying

that would have been epic if they gave the dog a long "official" name and included Peter.....something like Fido Von Smelly Peter Poopsalot..lol
