First of all misleading title ( i thought you will discus game comparison) and the second of all I don't care about your background as long you have opinion about game/topic/theme etc. Then I have opinion about your opinion which leads to either critism or dialogue. Either way be authentic and people will follow.
lol, okay. So let's start here. 1. the title was not misleading, you made an assumption. 2. I am saying that i want people to care about my background; my history informs my beliefs and I want my audience to value it as I do. I dont think you realize you were being rude, so I'm just gonna tell ya straight that this comment is pretty rude.
Consider why I titled it this way, when your assumption turned out to not be the case. Consider that, perhaps, i was using some of the visuals to illustrate the emotional affect. The two instances of showing the Demon Bell. The self-censorship of the sanzaru, and the invisible monkey that Sekiro added.
You were so focused on yourself that you failed to see another, while watching a video about finding yourself through connecting with others.

I switch my style up almost video to video as I want to give each topic the feel and flavor they need to shine but I always strive to leave a piece of myself within each one

I know this is antithetical to the video and everything, but i do think you should follow the example of your favourite essayists, in their confidence i mean. Tell it how it is, be bold, Ratatoskr is a great example of this, but he also is a bit provocative. Comparison is the death of joy, but inspiration is a wealth of it i think, dunno if that's a quote.
Ratatoskr is actually someone i have history with that fueled the Petty Era. He reached out over Twitter dm to collab with me on a Nier video. But I didn't see it in time. When I responded, their nier project was done, but they didnt want to collab with me on anything else. They werent interested in working with me; they were interested in my nier audience. My videos that saw some success before warframe. Personally, I felt they were commodifying me, rather than honestly wanting to work with me.
Whatever any one thing can do, nothing else can do it quite the same. Even 2 boxes of cheez its, one of them having been stomped on, are ultimately equal

Philosophy.
Do philosophers actually practice it?
praxis/practicum is always an interesting challenge to philosophies. Sometimes its used as a critique of thr idea by pointing to something like failing to live up to an ethical philosophy. Sometimes, the inability to live up to a philosophy is built in to it, such as critiques of capitalism within a globe-spanning capitalist economy. The American pragmatist school is centered around such critiques and is the original, new American school of philosophy. I made a video about it using God of War (reboot) as the foil.
i will say, quite often, the praxis of philosophy itself becomes the code we live by, rather than any particular belief system. Any philosopher worth their salt is going to adopt a non-dogmatic approach to exploring new ideas.
@@SocraTetris I find a lot seem to be unaware of rival explanations, know more about their side's explanations, then conclude in their side's favor from heuristic biases.
I call thay faction the "debate bros". people who pursue philosophy as a means of winning rather than exploring. you know, sophists with a stick up the bum
@@SocraTetris Actually people do this just through study and conversation also. Debate doesn't change minds tho (not of those participating anyways, because of identity/community obligations, unless you have neither of those anyhow). Things should be challenged because there is the issue of more study than practice, particularly those who do appeal to authority to great minds of the past. Enamored with all the information they find themselves surrounded by. Or ways to reconfirm deeper their priors. I think a field in particular this is more obvious within is metaphysics. Or the classic 'Empiricism is invalid because empiricism says our minds produce our world'.
So thats the dilemma of what I have seen of modern philosophy, hence my question, 'are they actually philosophizing'?
