Well, I think 'EASY' may be an exaggeration, especially if you have fat hands. And X 10 if you have a Honda Element. It's the same engine, but with only 3 inches clearance between the manifold and the fans. I succeeded on my '05 with a lot of BS&T and the dread P0325 fault intact. I bought an after market sensor for $60, maybe I should have gotten the OEM for $100. I'm not sure I tightened it enough, the swivel might have been binding and it's gonna be nasty trying to test the wire. How big a job would it be taking the 5 intake bolts off and just pulling the manifold back? Do you know where the wire goes to test it? Thanks! It was a very clear video. Use of the hose was brilliant, I used electrical tape on the end of an extension (which stuck (better) to the sensor, not the extension as expected).
I have a 2007 and have seen a handful of videos where you can watch yourself through the intake manifold, but my sight is almost completely blocked when I go to do this job. I can barely see the clip no matter how well I light the area around it. I don't understand why this is maybe it's an operator error lol
Hello, I am glad that the video helped you. Torque spec is 23 lbf.ft. there are two main reasons for wish the code may come back. The first one is a bad connector/wire, the second one is over torque the sensor. Keep me posted. Please consider subscribing to the channel.

I’m going to try this myself soon. I’m an older lady, and I just can’t see having to pay a mechanic $200 to do what would take him hardly any time at all to complete. Thanks for the video! I’ll let you know if doing this myself worked out for me or not. 😀
Tight working conditions but doable. Used Spiral Wrap Tubing with some electrical tape to stiffen the "insertion tool". Good luck torquing that where it is without removing the manifold. Snug is good enough for my girl.
Changed the knock sensor today. Used a 1 1/16 socket and 4 inch extender. Used curved needle nose for the connector. I was so happy when I heard the connector clip in. Wahooooo!
Just followed this video with my son on his car. Worked exactly like shown. The hose trick worked great.
Can also just rip a paper towel and stick it around your part

Yeah if you still have issues you should switch to an OEM sensor

Replacing the Knock Sensor: Another video showed the person put a paper towel inside the socket to keep the new knock sensor toward the front/tip.
