2024 Commencement Ceremony - UC Davis School of Medicine

The UC Davis School of Medicine celebrated its 53rd Commencement on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for Performing Arts on the UC Davis campus. A total of 114 students received their medical degrees.
The Class of 2024 student speaker is Cameron Clerkley, who is known for being passionate about advocating for the advancement of health equity and improving the health of Black patients.
The keynote address was delivered by Monica Soni, chief medical officer for Covered California, the state’s health insurance marketplace. Soni, a board-certified internist, leads Covered California’s Health Equity and Quality Transformation division. She is responsible for health equity, health care strategy, medical policy, medical management and other clinical operations.
