Vandhiya thevan is my favourite character.. he has everything in him.. carefree person, instinctive , bold , humorous, sometimes hasty in speech & action etc... in total a cool guy..
When I read Ponniyin Selvan for the first time, First chapter pudhuvellam -Adithirunaal literally gave me an imaginary picture of vanthiyathevan's long travel on his favorite horse back and the festivities when he enters the Chozha kingdom....it was awaesome...I can totally see that here!

Just saw it yesterday. Immersive experience. Each and every department has worked it's best. Last sequences how did they planned it. This movie is a new Ratnam from Mani Ratnam.
After every update my expectations getting higher. I don't know how Mani rathinam going to deliver my all time favourite PONNIYIN SELVAN into screen. If he delivers atleast 50% of the novel it's going to be the biggest blockbuster in India.
