Nice job bro. On the fomica counters to install undermount clips the width of the wood has to be 3/4. On the sides they work perfectly. Most of the time in the front and back its 1 1/2", so use 1"spade bit on the lower part of the of wood. Then you can chisel it out and square it up. You can also use a jigsaw to cut out the counter to make the sink to fit, easier to cut then the multi tool, but you made it work and did a great job.
Thank you. You’re right about the jig saw, it is definitely faster! I have one and in hindsight I wish I would have used it but the multi tool got it done. And yes, good tip on the clips! I always do the same thing - drill out the wood with a spade bit and jam them in there 🤣
