I love the fact that the tempo of this song is the PERFECT beat to practice perfecting your boosts.
I like practicing my drop boosts in there. Easily my reserves last a whole lap.

How poetic that music from a Speedway level in a platforming game is in a speedway in a racing game.
I love what they did with this track! The idea of the racers driving into portals and going through the different realms of Spyro felt magical
The only issue with that is that, if someone leaves a Breaker or an explosive box, there's no way to avoid it. Unless you have a Power Shield or a Mask with you, you'll end up swallowing the trap no matter what.

When I first heard this racing on this track my heart melted. My entire childhood collided racing as Spyro on this track in a Crash Team racing game. I’m 28 and still feel like I’m 7 years old listening to this 😢
Fun fact, this is actually Mushroom Speedway’s theme from the Greatest Hits version of Spyro 3.

@@windy3935 The original NTSC version and all PAL versions (including Platinum edition) of Spyro 3 use the Harbour Speedway theme in all speedways, so this track is not present. Only the NTSC Greatest Hits edition has this track, or rather the track this is based on.

I knew Activision would eventually include Spyro in CTR Nitro Fueled which reminds me of Donkey Kong made his cut to join Mario Kart series. Talking about an extreme nostalgia.
I really hope beenox is the one developing Spyro 4! They would knock it out of the park I think! The soundtrack here is clear evidence of it.

Apparently in the leaks was Ripto and sorceress so fingers crossed ! It makes sense to me if we were to get 3 more maps from Spyro. Since the map we have mainly focuses on Spyro 1 the second map can be Spyro 2 landmarks and so forth.
I feel the nostalgia flowing through my veins as I race around the epic race track.

Spyro/Dragon Speedway sounded like a better track name.
I like how they went with a great deep cut song, as opposed to something more predictable.
Just listening to this theme makes me want to go and play the original games again.

I’m so impressed here. It’ll be really cool if there were more Spyro tracks like in Gnorc Cove where we would avoid getting hit by Gnorc Commandos and TNT’s and then race through Ripto’s Arena and avoid Ripto’s spells and monsters and finally race through the Sorceress’s Lair avoiding Rhynocs.
Need some more Spyro characters in nitro fueled. This on par with the original.
I really wish we get an 8th cup race with the 3 bonus tracks. And maybe Oxide Station too, just so we can have 4 track in the cup.
Aww they didn't add the Sparx singing, also yeah I can see what you mean in how Harbour Speedway could've been better since it was originally just the general speedway music in Spyro 3, I guess they picked this because it captures a lot of iconic parts of the Spyro music style? But yeah, this is a pretty cool remix

We need more original PSOne classic crossovers. Crash, Rayman, Croc, Gex and Spyro could be the original ones, and later Sir Daniel and Abe as additions, and all of them go up against the likes of Mr. Dark (like Loki), Rez (like Ultron) or Gnasty Gnorc (like Thanos).

How do you get Spyro in this game?
He has a new winter skin this grand prix. There is a bundle for him that includes the character as well. He was the bronze reward in the nitro gauge in the Spyro grand prix back in september. Him and many other characters that you might not own are sold seperately too (for 1500).
