Depeche had a 3-year break between Violator and SOFAD. But Alan wasn´t idle. Producing Nitzer Ebb, recording Bloodline, recording Death´s Door. Ascend is my favourite NE track. Depeche Mode´s magic was in the improbable situation when 3 guys met. They all brought something unique. Martin´s songwriting is fundamental. No songs, no nothing. Dave´s voice and his frontman charisma. And Alan´s studio work.
Came looking for this after listening to Caroline's Monkey from Memento Mori. Very similar sound / sample that runs in the background to DM's new track, which is so similar to Ascend. I wonder if Alan secretly did some work on the new DM album after all! 😁
+Gaston „Ogroff“ .MACOUTE Come on man. Every band evolves. And as much as I like That total Age I find the work they did on As Is e.p. and the LP Ebbhead very good. I like the production of Alan Wilder and Flood
I loved when Dave Gahan wore Nitzer Ebb t-shirt on TV shows, i love Alan's production. Here´s a picture of Martin Gore sporting a Nitzer Ebb t-shirt: loveneedsitsmartyrs.tumblr.com/image/44465002794 Unfortunately, Nitzer Ebb didn´t have the luck Nine Inch Nails did but for me they are much more interesting band
thanks Alan Wilder for producing this!

Great song, beautiful video and Doug looks handsome in those curls ❤.
this single and the whole ebbhead album is a genre for itself.
Um ótimo grupo e boa música.!!!!
Me trae recuerdos de mi adolescencia 🥲

I have also curly hair like Doug in this video and in the same color ☺️.
Awesome music and video. Pure 90s in a good way

Just blew the dust off this cd single & wondered at the Flood mixes - fantastic ! NIN eat your heart out !
NIN’s more textured
Whoa it's their Depeche phase
They seem like an evil incarnation of Depeche Mode

I fucking love this song but the video looks like something Ross & Chandler did in a flashback of Friends.

Video and Douglas hair sucks. But the song is awesome. Nitzer Ebb forever.
WTF??
The worst of Nitzer Ebb, OMG, Shame on them. Remember THAT TOTAL AGE

+jakubpetricek "Every band evolves" Yes, ok for "Big Hit 1996" (excellent) but not that : It's so cheesy.
Evolving doesn't mean one way.
