My absolute favourite author! Can’t wait for his next novel.
Lovely man, met him in Manchester, England in Nov 2007 when he signed his new release at the time, Rather Be The Devil, I turned up two weeks too early and came back on the right date when he would be there, he asked me if he was worth the return journey, Absolutely. Great guy. Just had his signed new release, A Song For The Dark Times. :) :)
So eloquent and interesting. Ian Rankin's interviews are a joy and make me go back and re-read the Rebus novels.
I’m a recent fan of the John Rebus anthology, great page turners these books are.Rankin is the rare author who has the ability to make his books seem like true crime novels.
Have you seen Ken Stott as Rebus in the tv series?
He is utterly BRILLIANT
Read them all and waiting for the next Rebus novel.
Thanks from a devoted
Rankin/Rebus fan, from Australia.
Had a nice pint in the Oxford Bar with my Dad the day we conducted the Rebus Edinburgh tour.
Thanks I am a big fan.
You're welcome
I feel like you are him. right on
