Dude keep it Ford powered...Hell I can build a 302 Ford with a long rod that will turn some serious RPM's and make just as much HP as the LS1 for a lot less $. Yes the LS is a killer motor. I've got a Cleveland that I'm getting ready to put back in my mustang. I've got $3500.00 from carb to oil pan and I've ran the best of a 8 flat in the 1000 ft. with only a 150 shot. Motor still had some left in it. Oh yeah! I've smoked every LS, BB, and SB Chevy $ for $....Ford power!

and how much would you charge for building an ls1/2 mazda rx8 ?
It would be hard to put a price something like that,
its 4-5 k for just engine and parts.

Bah. Switching from a Windsor to an LS is lame. Windsors will always sound better no matter what.
