Try using a very light coat of primer first, it dries down the orange peel so much more as the water leaves the material. Remember, you don't want thick coats that start a pattern of orange peel from the start. Layer the final wet coat of primer on the same day slightly once the very light first primer coat is almost dry to the touch. That heavier coat second layer of primer will melt into the first coat . Having an absorbent light first coat will suck up the water and not let any sags develop. you don't need to use a second day to apply another prime coat. Get started building a smoother and better flowing top coat that is more finely ground and won't orange peel like a primer since primers are meant to build coats.
since you essentially are applying 2 separate prime coats in one day, the build will give you faster dry times and the ability to sand any imperfections the next day.
For cabinets, try to think more like the autobody painting techniques. Time is money going into too many days, you will still do quality work at a more production speed. Being able to outbid others that will figure for extra days on the job, when you can finish earlier and still profit more.

That’s a great setup, and i consider myself good, great job inspirational to say the least, one thing I have 2 airless sprayers (695, 395) never used an hvlp sprayer i was going to buy one today but on the fence, what primer did you used here? Do you have to thin primer and do you do latex top coat with that same sprayer? Thanks

Nice man? I love my Airless sprayers as well. They put in work for cabinets forsure. But the HVLP is another level of finish quality in my opinion after using both for the same type of projects. Gotta love both of them. I used shellac primer and was a easy clean up for me. No need to thin the primer but the paint I thinned with 10% water per liner cup. Stir very good for about 3-5 min. Strain it too. This will prevent any debris from flowing into the paint. It helps alot
