  • Jon Brunson, with Addicted to the Outdoors, gives a great review on the all Electric Intimidator UTV. This was done with no input from Intimidator and we could not have scripted it better.

Last fall I purchased an intimidator electric . This thing is deadly for hog hunting at night . I can creep into a bunch of hogs without them knowing I am around. I am completely satisfied with the construction and performance of this vehicle. I will say if you purchase the electric get the water fill option for the batteries. This makes it easy to maintain water level them. I have had not one problem with this vehicle in all the times it has been used. Two thumbs up !

How is it still holding up, do you still have it?

@@austingunsauley yes sir, I still have my intimidator. I have had no problems, still use it all the time for night hunting. I can also say that my wife will go to it before she goes to the John Deere gator because it is so quiet. Both intimidator and gator are extremely good . I still say the battery watering system is what makes it so reliable. I fill the batteries once a month, just to keep them topped off. This takes around three ounces of distilled water and just a few minutes to fill. I would like you to understand, it does not have power steering, I have no problem with this. I go miles and never had a battery drain problem. I am trying to give you an honest opinion. Saying again, if I was to buy another electric it would be a intimidator.

why is he repeats over and over again same keypoints about real dif and torque. we all know that most EVs have amazing torque, its a nature of electric engines. Why does he never gets into anything importaint like range, warranty, service availability, how long to charge, etc. no offence but video is so so. i was hoping for more.

The problem is the price. High price plus the fact that you have to buy a new battery set every 3-4 years. Battery technology just isnt at a viable point yet for me. These would be nice as a rental but I'd never own one.

what sort of range do they get? this is always the scary part of using an EV - that you get somewhere deep into the bush and run out of charge. no easy way to just add fuel and head back.

The range depends on a number of factors, but 30 miles is achievable. Some people have reported an average of 16 miles in hilly and cold conditions. You can't beat this machine for certain applications. If you know the distance you are traveling and must remain silent and scent free then this machine is perfect.

Intimidator UTV how many years battery service, before having to do a complete (up to) $800 battery refit, say average usage of 3 to 4 times a week (5- 10 miles) and well cared for maintained?
And how long under that usage before noticeable power and mileage begins to show degradation in its use vs maintaining its new battery performance?
I'm considering one, but needed stats via these type serviceability considerations. Thanks.
