And that he got the time line and the who it was built by wrong you see its actual a Lima type since it's based off the 1225 which is retired and still runs now and it was made in 1941 by lima locomotives works but the know it all said it's a baldwin type built in 1931 but hes wrong
Hi! I’m a big fan of Back to the Future myself AND a descendant of one of Andrew’s Raiders who stole the General! Corporal William Pittenger was my Great Great Uncle.
I did a similar thing at my HO club. I used a 1:64 DeLorean so the rail wheels I installed would gauge out properly. Many spectators got a good laugh. Then the prototype police started yelling at me. “You can’t travel through time.” I left that club and the prototype police is now in cognitive care.
I actually got one of these exact Lionel O scale train models for my grandfather a little while ago. Lionel did a pretty good job with the design of this type of model.
Me Realizing The Engine Has Two Missing Driving Wheels Meaning It's Not A 4-6-0: Also, The Running Board's Absent Making It Impossible For Doc To Make It Across, And The Boiler Shouldn't Slope Like That.
Part of the problem is nobody's made an old gauge model of Sierra number 3 the engine used inthe movie. Unfortunately I don't think a lot of demand for in any scale. People with moderate in 80 usually after resort to using Tyco/Mantua Dixie Belle locomotives. Even those are slightly over-scaled.
This one is a marketing stunt, though hardcore fans might not mind: In honor of the trilogy's 30th anniversary, Pepsi is selling a limited number of bottles of "Pepsi Perfect," the soda of choice in Back to the Future's 2015. The bottles, sold in the movie for $50, will cost $20.15 (get it?) if you order them online-though cosplayers got bottles for free at New York ComicCon earlier this month. Despite the futuristic packaging, the flavor of Pepsi Perfect is traditional; the company is using natural cane sugar rather than the typical corn syrup. Unfortunately, that doesn't make it any healthier.
When I was a kid on the 80s I told my mom I wanted to pull a gun on a train engineer and steal a train. - She then gave me a gun and told me to go do it. I got arrested at 8 yrs old... Now I live my life by the radio instead of tv.
Your channel is good, I saw one of your videos and it's not bad, more precision of something that draws attention to the public like this video of yours that I'm watching now that it's shown 😄👍.
Fun fact, the Polar Express has a flux capacitor in it. And the know-it-all kid does point out how it stays 4 till for more than just 60 seconds

This is hardly a fun fact.
I don't care if the engine not the same. I know where the inspiration comes from and think the video is awsome. And thank you for sharing
Thank you too!
Please excuse the crudity of this model. I didn't have time to build it to scale or paint it.
That was awesome! I almost had a heart attack because I thought you were going to wreck that classic toy train 😂🔥🚂💨🔥
Thanks. Not to worry. the James Gang set is a cheap DC version of the General. Not really a classic or a collectable.

@@wargame2play that’s awesome!
What’s the scale of the Delorean? 1/48? Where did you buy that? Thanks.

Thanks! Will do!
I just want the car!
An excellent video. Hello from the Tracy Mountain Railway in Colorado. 💙 T.E.N.
P.S. We know that the movie used a 4-6-0 steam locomotive, not a 4-4-0, but it is an excellent effort. 💙 T.E.N.
Please excuse the crudity of this model.
It's not crude, it's Lionel. Great job modifying the Delorean. A Vitesse kit? 💙 T.E.N.
@@tracynation2820 Yes, I modified a Vitesse car.
a great movie series
Great Scott, that was awesome 👏🏻
Thanks 👍
Yeah, doc, it's heavy huh?
@@ellynkei88 classic 👍🏻

WoW, It is great...
love it where did you find the Clara and Doc figures?
They are figures that a fellow club member gave me. Doc was originally a woman with dress and purse that I modified.
@@DeadrailTrains thats banging! i did the BTTF locomotive myself and im currently searching for similar figures for my hoverboard lol

Wow guys, then you two come up with an accurate presentation. I thought it was great!

Where did you find the Delorean model?
It is a 1/43 back to the future part III made by Vitesse which I modified to ride on 0 gauge track.
Awesome dude
Thanks 😁
FRIGG'N AWESOME!!!
thanks
*Me practically going insane that there's not 3 sets of drive wheels*

What scale is the Delorean?
It is 1/43 scale made by Vitesse
great!
thanks
👍 Nice . Just didn't quite reach the 1.21gigawatts
That was disappointing!! I was waiting for the flux capacitor to kick in, the light show in front of it and it taking off back to 1985!!!!
This is epic
thanks

Clever.

Is this a hold up it's a science experiment
Is this the Welly Delorean? How did you MOD it?
the car was made by Vitesse. It's the railroad version. I used a steam engine pilot truck for the wheels and axles.
That is awesome, do you want us a favor and do not launch it off a bridge please
Hey doc! We just hit 35!
Epik
thanks
THE MAIN THEME from the soundtrack of Bttf3 would have fitted so much better to this video...
...anyways great display, congrats!!!
thank you
Épico
thanks
So glad this video exissts
thanks
Just add 1,21 gigawatts
Its the best. Id by 2 if i seen it

Simple science experiment as return to modern time?
You painted that train black?
yes. It was originally red plastic

Well you got the Engine completely wrong. Its a 4-6-0. Also you have the car way far out from the engine.
You are correct. I just worked with what I had.
*not to scale
