Thanks. This one was fun because I got my industrial and automotive in one😀. Even found a picture of that garage online with two tractor-trailers parked in front fueling up. That was really cool
Absolutely.. I love the other stuff, the houses, the hospitals. And they each have their own personalities and touches. But the industrial just has a totally different personality with each building. All the additions and modifications that were made over to decades that you wouldn't see in a regular household or other type building. The random things that people decades before us were also doing to just get by if it didn't get noticed LOL. Plus the industrial stuff shows the real stuff,, the gritty side, the working side you don't see everywhere else. The every day hussel folks did just to raise families that have long been forgotten. We all have a story. Maybe somebody will find pieces of mine in abandoned automotive garage 50 years from now🤷
I’m just curious-is fluorescent lighting considered obsolete these days? It seems like most office buildings have converted over to led lighting. Cool find, Rich! It makes me wonder when this place shut down. Maybe the 1980’s?
Yes, I think it is considered outdated. I've got it in my basement cause it's cheap, easy, good lighting. And I still see a lot of in residential. But like you said, businesses have all converted from that, you just don't see it in buildings anymore. My shop as outdated as it is, converted about 10 years ago. They first converted the original fluorescent fixtures and then just replaced them with the square panels. After that we had to paint the place. The lighting was so good, we saw how bad everything else was LOL
It was an oil company of sorts. They didn't have any tanks or store anything on-site from what ican see, and there was some obvious office space around the building, but they must have done testing or something there. Just a big industrial complex.
VERY COOL !!!!!!!,,,
Cool video. Love the moss LOL
Ey up me duck.
Another cool explore with an interesting industrial building. 👍🙂

I love these industrial sights from yesterday. It's a different side of history we don't always get to see
