Filmed 7/24/1997, to the best of my knowledge. Note: Pascal was having an off day vocally, but it's not as noticeable in this song.

Before Hamilton there was RENT! Saw the original cast my very first night ever in NYC when I came done from college and was an instant Rent Head! Back in the days when we slept on the sidewalk for rush tickets!

Rent needs a Broadway revival
It’s doing too successful in the non union tour, regional theatre, educational and community scene. I would love one too but I know investors would rather put there money in other places rn.
Aside from Daphne, she was and will always be MY "Mimi". Takes MAJOR stugots to reprise the ORIGINAL Mimi from Daphane. She didn't just bring it, she owned it. And has owned me the past 22 years.

there's at least one full one with the OBC but it's pretty bad quality, along the lines of this one. (There's the full one this is from but that's not entire OBC)

Original cast: There's the April 16, 1996 First Preview that goes around as "Opening Night." with full OBC. May 1, 1996 is full OBC but horrible quality and don't recommend. December 8, 1996 has Yassmin Alers u/s Maureen. January 9, 1997 has a few understudies, Gilles Chiasson u/s Mark and Shelley Dickenson u/s Joanne. February 1997 has Norbert Leo Butz u/s Mark. Then Daphne leaves in April and you start with the replacements.
@@MarcelinoSoliz they do have a tape of the OBC. A pro shot. It’s in the New York City Library with alll the other pro shots. You can watch it but only in the library.
