Good to see ya making another video for this. Game definitely has a long way to go but getting better with each update.
Just a note on the Asp: They are a predatory carp, but they also will quite often be caught on things like worms and maggots as bycatch. They are great sport as they will absolute smash into lures with immense speed! Bit surprised that they were in that little pond as their main thing (and reason they are such strong fish) is that they mainly live and hunt in rapids!
Also on the zander: yeah, they'll drag the bobber down very quickly. They mostly live on the bottom so they'll quickly shoot up to grab the bait and dive back down again if its presented floating. If you present the bait on the bottom they can be incredible subtle and careful.
turn off the strike alert and sound in the settings and use F while the float is in the water and you will zoom at it. This will make it alot more fun to use ^^
Or just look at the indicator on the bottom right. It lets you know if you have a bite
Finally, my chance. I've fished for zander here in Finland with live bait, jigs and crank bait. In my experience zander hit life bait fairly straight up but they are not as aggressive a pike. I've caught smaller zander with worms when i thought they were perch because they were taking it so carefully. So yea, i think it's fairly accurate.
In Norway, we fish for atlantic salmon using flies, spoons, spinners, lures, or worms :)

11:40 yes flinter, zander does not f*ck about. They grab the bait and bail. Its a great spiecies to fish. They life in murky water so Its always a surprise when they strike and they strike hard. So in that aspect the game is realistic

Most of our trout/salmon species least here in WNY, when they grab bait, which we use trout eggs and skein (King Salmon eggs still attached to the membrane) In moving water most fish will slam the bobber down which makes for awesome video footage. In still water sometimes it gets slammed sometimes it bounces around like a blue gill bite.
good addition, but still the same soup... we need reeling animations and catch animation for all species, we need realistic water with less unrealistic splashes, we need more techniques, more realism with species (salmon together with bream??????????? :P)... adding more species will only result in more work to do to fix it
You were thinking flathead catfish!! Those are the mega ones . I’ve caught a few 20+ pounders right outside of Pittsburgh but they get 40-50 around here. And also we use those bullheads catfish to catch flathead catfish
First time i saw a thing from the new Map. The Fish looks great!! Makes me wanna stop the Moose Grind and go fishing for the 3 Big Ones on Golden Ridge Reserve and the new ones :D

Really wish I could get this on my PS4, Fishing Planet is fun and all, but this is just on another level!
i dont wanna be a downer, but i doibt this could run well on old gen. heck, cotw barely can run on my base model ps4.
@@neckrohs Been playing theHunter since 2020 and still haven't had a problem and my PS4 is an original, hell Doom Eternal runs super smooth on that hunk of junk and that's a 90+ gigabyte game lol only issue I have in theHunter is that for some reason after an update my E-brake doesn't work on my ATV 🤔 no matter how many times I uninstalled and reinstalled it, it just never works 😮💨 on top of that I just got wind that they are upping production of PS4s instead of making PS5s and Xbox Ones instead of the newer models due to chip shortages. So I guess if the game companies want to stay ahead of the curb they need to start working with older hardware again 😆
@@fistfullofsalt6311 maybe look at your key binds and i agree. the whole next gen situation is ridiculous, hence why i still have my ps4. ole girl can still play a good amount of nice games but shes getting old :(
@@fistfullofsalt6311 and i think the performance on my ps4 is so bad because, believe it or not, my nephew has unplugged it soooo many times when it was on rest mode.
@@neckrohs oh Lord no kidding, my kid's PS4 is in bad performance state, she keeps unplugging it when she has it in rest mode so many times it crashed and erased everything. Gotta be real careful with the hardware, still can't go wrong with the switch though, can't beat the old cartages lol

Hear me out, new snow map on Call do The Wild. It would be based in Alaska, it could have Moose, Reindeer, and other animals that live in the cold. But they would add musk ox, Dall sheep, and the biggest draw of all Snow Geese, but with groups you see in real life, they could add a new snow goose call and it would be the perfect time to bring in a 12 gauge automatic it would have a wood and camo color but it would also have a snow goose variation that held like ten shells. But that’s just what I think would be cool.
I think they should add an Asia or Australia map cause there’s already a bunch of North American maps but I do like your idea I just think it shouldn’t be the next map
the see through walleye is a fist in the eye or a kick in the ass
Imagine catching a 20 pound Atlantic salmon in real life! Here in Newfoundland we catch Atlantic salmon fly fishing and even the small ones put up a good fight!
burbot is one of the best tasting fish out there!

I fish for Zander in UK and they are eager feeders on live or dead baits and just smash them

bullhead catfish(or bullhead) are small. huge ones are smaller that 24 inches

I just want for this game to have different colors for lures and have them apply differently in different colors of water
Any idea why my map isn't updating when I discover a new body of water? I just picked up the game and the new body of water has only popped up for me like twice. And I've been to every body of water on golden ridge.

the main issue with dead looking fish and no animations, is NOT that almost every game on the planet doesn't look better than TA... actually TA is at the very same level of almost every game, but that the main goal of the dev team was to be different, and that they had the resources, ambition and fame to do so
