- One of the best facial hair removal methods for the long-term is laser hair removal treatment. Laser hair removal is used to remove unwanted facial or body hair using laser technology and laser hair removal side effects vary with skin type, hair colour, treatment plan and adherence to pre-treatment and post-treatment care.
Although facial hair removal using laser effectively delays hair growth for long periods, it usually doesn't result in permanent facial hair removal. Multiple laser hair removal treatments are needed for initial hair removal, and maintenance treatments might be needed as well.

hey there:) so i started laser hair removal about 6 months ago and im about to have my 7th session in 2 weeks. the laser clinic im going to is using a diode laser (its called prime lase). i have noticed a huge difference in my hair: its definetely a lot thiner and its growing slower. but i dont know if i‘m just imagining it, but i feel like its rather getting finer that reduced. my laser lady told me that thats normal and that it gets finer before never growing back. i just wanted to ask you what you think? is it normal ?

@@clreassaj7497 Yes! It absolutely works and I had my best friend on the wave to get hers removed. I had my first appt on Jan 26, then scheduled my 2nd appt on Feb 23. However, when the 2nd date came. I had no chin hair and I haven’t had to shave since my first appt, so I decided to push my 2nd app in March.
@@senshaabraham1090 sorry but laser hair removal is not permanent dear. i had done it before and i left with more facial hair because it stimulates hair follicle now i switch to electrolysis hair removal which is permanent hair removal treatment. Hope my comments will help you. Best of luck !! 👍

Hi @@BON847! My second laser hair removal appointment was on March 16. Still, no signs of hair growth and no hyperpigmentation. 😂 My chin feels like a baby’s butt. Over the course of time, my chin hair would fall off on it’s own, which is normal.
Now,
Regardless of my chin hair not being present. I still had to follow up with my 4 weeks appts. I made sure that my face stayed moisturized with the aloe vera gel and some sunscreen.
By the way, I believe that the electrolysis hair removal is a very effective treatment, but more painful and time consuming of an appt vs laser hair removal. Additionally, it’s expensive than the laser hair treatment.

Hi... Yes you can do it in different hospitals but the thing is different people use different machine for Laser hair removal... And if the result do not come then you will not be able to see why the result has not come... So it is always better to do it with one clinic or hospital under one doctor

Hey , I’ve taken multiple session for underarm hair removal , for underarm I’ve never had any side effect and after 7 Session 60% of the hair growth reduced . So for me for underarm there were no side effect . Now I am going through full body hair reduction let’s hope there won’t be any inside effect for that too .

Hi.... Generally speaking niasinamide serums and vitamin e are safe but still it will be better if you consult with the Dermatologist who is doing your Laser hair removal. Also threading is not usually advised in between laser sessions as it will remove hair strands from root.. so Laser hair removal will not be effective

Hi....there are certain medications like finasteride and dutasteride that block DHT...but they are to be taken after prescription from a dermatologist...and not everyone needs them...so i would suggest that you consult with a nearby dermatologist before starting any medication

I used tugain( minoxidil 5%) twice a day for scalp for 5 weeks,,,then I m seeing fine facial hair growth, my dermatologist suggested eflora 15gm for 12 weeks n told to use facial razor to remove them in-between,,,will they disappear within 12 weeks? Answer pls.
Hi... Minoxidil 5% can increase hair growth on the face in females... That is why lower concentrations of minoxidil is recommended for females... Also make sure that you apply minoxidil at least two to three hours before going to bed... Also wash your face and hands once you finish applying medication on the scalp... This hair growth will reduce only when you stop the minoxidil

Hi.... Other countries are also using lasers which come in contact with the skin... there is no Hair removal laser which does not come in contact with the skin.... Diode laser which is most commonly used in India which has this technology wherein you have to move the handpiece on the particular area....but this laser also has another handpiece which is for smaller areas like upper lip area and nose.... This is a very small tip which can be used for such areas

If you're having hair growth on the chin area and there is a high chance that you have hormonal imbalance... Those were having hormonal imbalance require lifelong maintenance sessions... Also gap between laser sessions will be short like 10 to 15 days during first four to five sessions after that it will gradually increase
