This anime is so bitter sweet. For me is a gem, a piece of art. It speaks to me about how important is the here and now, the journey, the road and how we make it meaningful to the unknown but hopeful destination. It is always in my heart ♥
havent watched it in its entirety in 9 years but i still remember the first time i watched it on adult swim in the early 2000s on adult swim and my appreciation for anime.
The song makes me look back at when I was 16 and first watched the series. Ten years later and I see how far i've come, how much has changed, and then I think about it, how much will change?
Wolf's Rain wasn't one of my first. It was my first. I thought anime was stupid. I found Wolf's Rain completely by accident, fell in love, and after watching it I gradually began watching just about anything I could find. 😆
Oh that is a really good and interesting way to put it. I also have some obssesions that I miss that often fade away like the previous excitment about them Kinda sad when I think about it.
just finished watching the series, and it made me cry because i know that the courage that the characters had to go through to put their trust in paradise and that they'll find life after death was beautiful.
The lyrics were sung soo sweetly with that gorgeous lonely piano..... It just welled up emotions for the story of a white wolf and his journey with his pack was made even more poignant and hearttouching. 5.4.2023
Glad to be part of this community, my brothers never really understood why I loved it so much, it’s just different, it hits you where you don’t except it to. The melancholy and that unpredictable ending . R.I.P to the manga author, we’re gonna miss her
This was the best anime I ever watched. I still get teary eyed listening to it, and my heart aches on how much I miss it. Guess it's about time to rewatch it :,)
my mother died last year in august. the day she passed, I just sat in a room and put this on repeat for a couple hours. bawled hard, face buried in my arms. I can't even see that running wolf without coming to tears. and as soon as those opening notes start.. man... the feels. it's cathartic. shit, i'm crying right now.
Still pathetic that you found some random ending of an animated wolf running to a song. As a reference to your mom. Did you believe her to be some kind of mut?
@@theoutsiderspost4982 It's not about wolves in the end, it's about humans all throughout, and their experience of life as in reality. this anime is so sadly nostalgic and beautiful I had never seen one like this before. It was one of the best anime i’ve ever seen. I enjoyed this time so much. I still remember the first time i saw it, now im so happy that i know this anime.❤️❤️
I balled throughout the ending last like 5 episodes of this show. One of the most memorable animes I've ever watched for sure. This song, obviously going to remain a favorite of mine forever. ♥
I had seen this anime when I was 8 or 9 years old (I'm currently 17) and as soon as I heard this song after all those years, nostalgia hit me so hard. So many memories. I literally have tears in my eyes right now.
Been a long road to follow Been there and gone tomorrow Without saying goodbye to yesterday Are the memories I hold still valid? Or have the tears deluded them? Maybe this time tomorrow The rain will cease to follow And the mist will fade into one more today Something somewhere out there keeps calling Am I going home? Will I hear someone, singing solace to the silent moon? Zero gravity what's it like? (Am I alone?) Is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet? Still the road keeps on telling me to go on Something is pulling me I feel the gravity of it all
I heard this song for the first time when I started watching Wolf's Rain on cartoon network back in 2005...I cried the first time I heard it, and I couldn't believe how sad and haunting it was. I think one of the main reasons I watched the anime was because of this song...
Every time i listen to this song, i just feel like the first time i watched the series. And every freaking time tears rush to my eyes, and i find myself sobbing. Dat Feel, brothers and sisters, i am for sure is shared between everyone who watched this great series, regardless of gender, nationality, and skin color. We are one, and still searching for our heaven.
This song has had a great impact on my life. It's been 20 years since I came across this song, and my sensitivity has faded over a long time, but this song brings back the emotions of the sensitive time. Thank you for uploading a great song.
Saddest ending song to the saddest anime... and I love it! Time has flown. I remember fondly sitting in front of the TV to watch this sad saga unfolding before me on Cartoon Network. 16 years ago. Wow. I'm happy to now own the blu-ray. I'm going to watch it again this weekend with a friend that has never seen it.
This is most likely the best anime I've seen. The characters are so well developed and the music is so beautiful. Then you add a powerful story line to it and it almost takes your breath away. So well done. Thank you for posting this.
Literally amazing piece of music and it perfectly matched the atmosphere the anime priduced throughout the story. Watched it for the first time few weeks ago and truly impressed especially with regard to how much meaning it has to us in this generation, I mean as a generation playing a key role in determining the future of this beautiful planet...
Was feeling a bit sad and suddenly this song struck in my head after so many years ...I luved the series soooo much and now it made my eyes watery with a smile after listening to this song :)

This anime got me through so many crazy, sleepless nights. Working til 10pm at my job, then coming home and grinding through essays til 5 or 6am only to turn around and go back to college again later that morning.
I feel the sadness in her voice and also here the hope......this was a perfect song for Wolf's Rain....its a lovely yet sad story and i recommend watching it anyone who likes wolves or anime
Haven't see this since I was in the second grade, man I loved this anime.I would make sure I would stay up just to watch this and Inuyasha.I might need to just re watch it.
Whenever I listen to this songs I just cry , remembering how life was good back there and how I was living a beautiful peaceful life remembering my cats I just can't stop.

This is the only anime that I left the intro's and outro's uninterrupted on every single episode; they are amazing. In fact, the whole soundtrack is pretty epic, Yoko Kanno is something of a genius.
This is honestly one of the most beautiful songs that I've ever heard in anime, it has some sort of bittersweet or even sad feel to it, in fact, it almost made me cry when I first heard it, but I love it nonetheless. It has heart.
Wolf's Rain has such a deep feeling, a feeling that cannot be described with words at all. It made me feel a desire to keep on living every day like there is no tomorrow, but also left a deep feeling of emptyness inside. I got to give it to the makers of this series, they are brilliant. And as for the ending, it was a good ending... you could say that if you have watched Cowboy Bebop. Great anime, best out there!
Music - Breathtaking ( A ) Story - on so many levels ( A ) conclusion: A underrated masterpiece that will change your mind of thinking after watching this anime...recommended by many people and its worth it!
This anime should be on the same pedestal as Death Note, FMA: Brotherhood, dare I say even Akira or Ghibli movies among the anime community. I remember starting it because "wolves yay". Yup...sad but at the same time beautiful..
This anime deserves so much more credit then it has, it's really sad that is not gonna be known to new generations and eventually despair into history
If buried, every treasure is meant to be discovered again.
Yeah and people will just cherish the medicore to terrible stuff. Sucks that anime suffers from this the most.

Oh my gosh I haven't seen this anime since I was kid.
I fell in love with this song a long time ago, I nearly cried when I first heard it, I took in it's deep soulfull expression and it warms my heart.
I just remember the anime's first episode coming out it make's me cry really hard,I watched this when I was just 12
One of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard. Thanks for sharing.
