Great video! 👍 The “stretch zones” were rows that had slightly better legroom than the others. My wife used to to a Captain on kulula/Comair but for the last 2 months she’s been a housewife. 😢
The A340s belong, or used to belong to South African Airways. They were put up for sale when SAA filed for bankruptcy, but because of their lack of efficiency, they haven't attracted any buyers hence why they are stored at OR Tambo. Great video Tony!
Were you sitting on the left hand side of the plane? I’ve never flown and been to be Cape Town before but I’m planning to let all of that come to and end next month and I’d like to see the view of the Table Mountain when I land.
Yes I was, of course, if the wind changes direction they can land the other way, but the prevailing wind is from the West, so the left side gives you a better chance of the view. Enjoy your first flight and Cape town, it'll be great!
How Sad That Kulula Is No Longer In Operation I Used It A Couple Of Times When It Operated Flights Between Lusaka And Johannesburg Under Zambian Airways Arrangement Thank You For The Information Tony
and another one gone 😒this pandemic has a lot to answer for hasnt it Tony , nice wee review though , lets hope things get sorted soon and they are back in the air soon eh👍

Thanks Graham, that makes sense. I hope your wife regains her wings very soon, she may have actually piloted that flight!
Nice review 💯👌
Glad you liked it!
