Just a short look at Caringbah flea Market from a couple of Sunday's ago. It was bitterly cold and windy, with things getting blown off tables, so we didn't stay long.

Where I live in Maryland we very rarely get anything more than the remnants which is wind maybe as high as 50 mph gusts and a lot of rain depending where the hurricane comes ashore. My sister, who lives on the North Carolina coast says the majority of people there see hurricanes as no big deal. Our news media here tends to blow the storms way out of proportion because they are driven by the agenda that the more spectacular they can make it the more views and/or clicks they get unfortunately.
