Techno is the future. We all agree on this, and we are techno by definition so here we are offering your part of the future with this unique audiovisual collection of musical pieces and graphic art made by our team of artists.
Unique Exercises, more than a compilation
The sound spectrum of the Unique Exercises compilation covers each corner of electronic music, precise and hypnotic techno exercises, robotic electro pulses, acid infused atmospheres, cold and harsh EBM or industrial and rude experiments.
Part of our roster members Adriana López, Alessandro Adriani, Alienata, Anthony Rother, Ben Sims, Bloody Mary, Cardopusher, CONCEPTUAL, Kessell, Kwartz, Lewis Fautzi, Nørbak, Oscar Mulero, P.E.A.R.L. , Psyk, Tripeo, Umwelt and Zadig provide a unique track for the Unique Exercises compilation, which will be released on the Source Artists Bandcamp page on April 7 - 2022. sourceartists....
Multidisciplinary graphic artist Patti Hazel (@acid_hazel) has been in charge of the art design of the complete Unique Exercises collection and has created 18 unique pieces for each song.
Visual artist Efren Mur (@efrenmur) has adapted and animated digitally the audio and art pieces creating 18 unique audiovisual NFT’s.
The NFT collection can already be viewed at the Source Artists Open Sea page opensea.io/col...
and will be made available for sale starting April 7 - 2022 selling 3 NFT’s weekly.
If you complete the 18 NFT’s collection you’ll get a printed edition collage with all individual artworks on a high-quality printed poster.
On top of that an exclusive mix by Alienata will be broadcasted on April 7 - 2022 at 8PM to celebrate the release.

Hey Anthony, quick question. Do you think a nord modular g2x still make sense these days ? Do you use it for anything else than the vocoder ? Or is it mainly for that ? Sound wise I know it’s possibilities are kinda endless but do you still think is holds up in the competition of nowadays synths and even modular vsts or modular hardware… I hope you’re good. Keep up the lovely work. Loving it since 2003.
@@Variable1000 I cannot answer if it still holds up with other gear. But I can tell you that I use it for my vocoder and my whole LIVE SET (Electro) is the Nord Modular G2X (Vocoder: Micro Modular) and some of the strings is the Roland Alpha Juno 2 (The Machine/Live Is Life Is Love) here is a recording of a set that I played at Berghain 2019. In 2019 Marcel Dettmann invited me to play my electro live-set at Berghain.
The idea of a 4 track EP for his label "Bad Manners" was born that night during the artist diner where Marcel and I had a nice talk about music and the start of his new label.
During the last 2 years we selected and put together 4 tracks.
In 2021 I finally completed the EP with the production of a electro track.
We made this picture last week at the "Bad Manners label night" in the great club Elysia in Switzerland.

Die Idee einer 4-Track-EP für sein Label „Bad Manners“ wurde an diesem Abend während des Künstler-Dinners geboren, wo Marcel und ich uns nett über Musik und den Start seines neuen Labels unterhielten.
In den letzten 2 Jahren haben wir 4 Tracks ausgewählt und zusammengestellt.
2021 habe ich die EP schließlich mit der Produktion eines Electro-Tracks abgeschlossen.
Das Foto haben wir letzte Woche bei der "Bad Manners Label Night" im tollen Club Elysia in der Schweiz gemacht.

Gibt es eigentlich Tageszeiten wo du kreativ bist oder setzt du dich quasi hin und schaust ob irgendwas entsteht? Und wie hältst du deine spontanen Ideen fest wenn du mal nicht im Studio bist?
Wenn ich unterwegs bin dann schreibe ich es auf oder singe in mein Diktiergerät :-) ein Laptop mit einer DAW habe ich auch immer dabei sollte es sehr konkret sein.
