Forget about rent to rent. We all need to loan to rent. So take a loan out on any property and buy another property. Now add tenants to your new property. The rental income will be more than your mortgage repayments. With insurances and agents managing your tenants and guaranteed income. 25 years later, you're a home up and never paid for it. One could get a little extra from converting the property into an hmo. You should get a nice rental income and have the mortgage being paid, and of course, you get a property at the end of it. Do that again every 6 months or year or asap with that property and so on and so forth. In 20- 30 years' time, you have property after property being paid off and all yours. Ignoring everything you have had extra property prices in 30 years could have exploded anyway.
Tell that to the preachy con artist muslim elders who brazenly consume haram money as they won't admit they are multi property landlords from petty unskilled labour in the 70s and 80s and baby booming a living with child care overheads being scrimped back for their own selfish goals in competing with so called loved ones with an indulgence of egos by crowning themselves for scraping together more land that after 40 years is now worth hundreds of thousands but all kept under wraps for benefits that they would rather sell their souls to keep.
