Not just a good bit of weather, but flowers and the expanse of grassy area !!!! Cool old buildings, Mary under a cap, and a good afternoon 😅😂 ( not morning 😊). Some people give others with dogs a bad rep 😮😢!!!!! I'm not fond of road walks myself !!!!! Especially if I'm on the road ?!!! Sometimes it bothers my hips or gives me sciatica. So I truly am a trail lover 😂❤
Thanks Mary, we walked there in January, when we were up there house and dog sitting for a friend. We did the walk as a figure 8 and yes we went across the bull field, but no 4 legged creatures. Fortunately😅. We enjoyed our day there, but it was pretty boggy in parts being January and also thought the views were going to be better. None the less we are glad we did it. Thanks again, great video and loved the choice of background music.
It’s lovely isn’t it! Thanks so much for the lovely comment and really glad you like the music…I think it takes me longer to chose that then edit sometimes 😂
Nice walk - I did it last year. Bulls with cows are quite content provided you don't disturb them - they'll just look at you. Cows are more agile and can be more dangerous if separated from their calf. On the Pennine Way in Ribblesdale, my group of backpackers were chased along a lane by an angry bull. Luckily they made it to a gate. It was quite funny seeing their rucsacs swinging wildly to and fro as they ran - I had jumped onto a stone wall to watch with some amusement.
This really made me want to go back to England again. I think this captured probably the best time to be there (spring), when everything is green and new. I was interested in the Castle Howard estate, thinking it was linked to Catherine Howard. There is a link (it's the same extended family) but of course this building was built more than 100 years after her. But the Howard family is all tied back to the Duchy of Norfolk, which I read is one of the most famous and pre-eminent noble houses in the UK.
Fantastic video Mary, in a stunning location, I walk that area often, it's a shame that access to the mausoleum has now been refused but it is due to vandalism, so understandable, I've got a video of a different route on my channel, it takes you through pretty woods to see the 400 year old oak tree, past the statue of four faces and past the temple of the four winds, its a shorter 5 miles route but you see pretty much everything on it, access to Hawksmoor pyramid has also been revoked, also due to vandalism. Not many people know about the aztec pyramid that is in pretty woods either.
Seemed a nice walk Mary in lovely countryside, pity you couldn't get up to the Colliseum and pyramid, don't get trampled by a bull Mary, we want you to keep filming your excellent videos.
Mary, after the installation of the telephone booth over in Nova Lima, someone may have used this red booth on the road at Castle Howard Walk. And he must have spoken to some family in the city of Nova Lima. You've seen the old buildings, houses, church, Rugby club. There were 196 families who brought English culture, technology and the UAI. Alô mamãe estou me adaptando em MG, eu comi arroz com feijão 🤠 you don't eat meat, right naturalist, suco Goiabinha 🤓 Mary, must have liked Serra do Cipó and Serra da Canastra. tropical climate, in winter it is cold. Mary and the Paragliding Flight in Belo Horizonte and the Hang Gliding Flight in Rio, TOP, sensacional 🦋UAU!
Lovely videography, Mary, you're good at this. It's nice to see a gentler side of the Yorkshire landscape. Sad to see lovely old buildings derelict - Bog Hall needs restoring ...unless it's sinking(!) (No longer) fat pony! I always feel that muzzling horses, like this, is an abdication of responsibility. The environment is obviously unsuitable - too much food and too little exercise, for a creature used to having to travel to find any kind of sustenance in the low nutrient vegetation of the Shetlands. A retired cowman acquaintance who'd worked around the world, was of the opinion that cows cannot be trusted, because they're flight animals - they panic.
Nice walk Mary and I wouldn't have paid those prices!! They do seem rather high.
They are! Thank you Margaret ☺️

Thank you Howard, I’ll definitely try not to get trampled by a bull 🤣
I went to a concert at Castle Howard in June 2022.
It's a great place for them isn't it. I remember years ago going to the last night of the proms there - it was so wonderfully British 😆
@@MarysOutdoorAdventures Last night of the proms 😁 each to their own 👍 love your new hairdo have a nice day.
