The Magick by Marc Forde
The Magick is a piece inspired by a painting by the Argentine artist Carybé, The Death of Alexandrina (A Morte de Alexandrina). It concerns the life of an adolescent girl (Alex) who discovers that she has magical powers. However, things don't go according to plan when she grows a little over confidant and, like The Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia, starts performing spells that she can't control. For Key Stage 2-3 children.
